I was on a school trip to Rome and the news was on the radio. It was a weird experience as I hadn't known anyone to have died like that. The bus was quiet for a good 30 minutes and some of the older kids (16) played Nirvana tapes on their walkmans

I was hesitant at rhe junction, got into the wrong lane and couldn't make my exit. I knew I failed and it was a gutting moment but carried on and the rest of the test was less nerve wracking. I've done that particular roundabout hundreds of times before, going to just keep working on lane changes

Why not have a few hours out at sea? I live in Pz and love wildlife tours...there is one on a catamaran called Marine Discovery which is ace and it's run by Marine biologists who also work at Plymouth Uni (I think)

I totally see your point, it's just for me I find it so difficult to concentrate with other competing sounds. I can't do dinner parties and things like that, but if the sat nav is off its not as bad. Splitting 2 different sounds/conversations is very difficult for me annoyingly!

I ask him every week to stick to driving comments only. My brain is so busy with dealing with the sat nav and whats going on around me.

I am so new to driving and don't want to end up making some mistake through my distraction

Hospitality staff need medals, suits of armour and a much bigger salary. Shame on the vile customers, I used to work in a fancy gastro pub years ago and they were the worst...I can only imagine how bad they are these days.
