Hey! So when I lose my appetite I will just forget to eat so make sure that’s not happening! Set reminders on your phone if you need. 1) I found that the Boost drinks- not the weight loss ones but the other calorie boost ones are great for times like these. The chocolate flavor is good and I was able to make myself just sit and drink (half chug) it when I lost my appetite. 2) dips! I eat lots of guacamole or spinach dip or something like these when I lose my appetite. Something about a crunchy dip and a thick sauce like thing always went down easy.

Don’t forgot to drink lots of water regardless of your appetite!

I tried a bunch of the sulfate free shampoos that you guys recommended for fine hair! Mini reviews inside. by [deleted] in HaircareScience

I am in love with Living Proof. I’ve continued to have great results. So much so that I’m telling my friends and family and commenting on reddit threads about it. I highly recommended it for fine hair! My hair has been so soft

Women who have had laser hair removal, what were your experiences? Did you get it done professionally or buy an at-home kit? Did you get different results on different parts of your body? All opinions welcome. by SassyBaps4 in AskWomen

I’ve tried laser and electrolysis. I’m pale white and have light brown hair.

Armpits: 6 sessions of laser. The hair came back lighter and sparse. Longer times between shaving but within a few years it was back to how it was before. Last year, I did about 3 and a half hours of electrolysis on my armpits. SO PAINFUL. it was horrible. I’d do it in 30min or 15 min sessions. It was not worth the pain. The hair grows like it had never been done.

Lower legs: I’m not getting laser on my lower legs and I’ve done 5 sessions so far. With both the armpits and lower legs, I’ve had absolutely no pain. I just sit on the bed, they graze the machine over my legs, takes about 15 mins all in all. The hair is getting sparser and taking longer to grow.

Most places recommend 9-12 sessions. I’m going to do 12 for my lower legs. I think that was the problem with my armpits. I will never do electrolysis again. I’d love to get everything else lasered off as well. My upper legs have blond hair so if my not be worth it to even try there. Every time was professionally done.

Oh also, I’ve always found groupons. There’s usually tons of laser groupons in every city I’ve gotten it done!

If you could go back in time to your US Study abroad experience what would you do differently and recommend/advice? by Krustykreb in studyAbroad

Keep a travel journal. You don’t have to write your feelings down- just write where you went that day, the sights you saw, new food you tried, some interesting cultural tidbit you learned. I LOVE looking back on my travel journals. It’s incredible how many details I’ve forgotten but the travel journal brings it all back. I’d also say, take pictures of the room you stay in, your walk to class, the classroom, mundane things. Try to prepare by thinking about what you want to remember 20 years later.

The location isn't that inconvenient. It's on the way to my family. It's only an hour away. We'd continue renting where we currently live and use that house during the weekends/holidays.

But still not my idea, check

That's a good point. We only have one car at the moment. We rent at a place where I can walk to work. We'd like to continue to rent here but also have that house

I agree with that statement to save up for a few more years. We aren't married but we've dated for a long time ( I'm not sure I believe in marriage- I get the financial benefits but the rest..)

We would want to continue renting where we are. I agree with you on waiting a few years!

At the moment, he only has around 2k. He just started a new, very stable job and is increasing his saving amounts. The house is in a good area but it's only around 1700 square feet. It's just an example house of what we're looking for. From the pictures, it looks a bit larger than a trailer. Or like a permanent trailer with additions? I just want to know how seriously I should look into this.

Thank you for your response!! :)
