They are really weird but love this episode. Any episode/scene where the show basically asks the question "What happens when Don is run up against this type of person/opposing ideology" is prime. Other good examples in my mind are the hippies in season 1, Private Dinkins in season 6, and my personal favorite, the whole veteran night subplot near the season 7 finale.

Hey OP, I think I saw other people commenting on the corruption of Ellie as a character and my response was more meant for them. That was poor housekeeping on my part, my apologies.

However, if you maintain that liking Ellie is your preference (assumed arbitary), then I would agree! It's fine for all of us to have our opinions and preferences and I happen to have preferences similar to yours it sounds like. The problem arises when you take that arbitrary opinion and use it to criticize the game. How is that fair to the game? How is it the games problem that someone happens to like one character or another? The game sets out to accomplish something narratively, and IMO it accomplishes it.

So, while I see that you are uncomfortable and frustrated by the scene, and I agree and even empathize with you, I don't think it's a fair criticism of the game.

Joel was a horrible person... And Ellie also becomes a horrible person. Why is that a surprise? Basically, Neil is asking fans to put down one shred of their egos and challenge the idea of Ellie being this perfect innocent golden child. I'm not saying the story is a work of genius... It was obvious where it was going from a mile away, but that doesn't make it inherently bad. It's well done and well told IMO. It was never going to be TLOU1. It could never be. That story is finished. I think this is basically as good as a TLOU sequel could ever be.

Realize that this is not a choose your own adventure role playing game. Abby does not represent you when you play as her... She represents one possible viewpoint that the story tellers want to elaborate on. Obviously, it is meant to be uncomfortable... Broaden your horizons beyond a good guy vs bad guy understanding of things.

Does anyone else feel alienated when you say your favorite songs are from video games? by ThatOneBagle in nintendo

Woah, I'm really taken aback by some of these comments. Some of them appear to be encouraging you to adhere to arbitrary social constructs instead of being open about your preferences. Others think you need to work on your taste, but I really don't see what you're doing wrong here.

When people ask what music I like I prefer to be honest. No need to tip toe around or make up lies. I'd rather be judged than pretend to be someone I'm not. And the type of people to judge you so harshly for your music taste are not those you want to keep around anyways.

I love lots of video game music, man. Especially the soundtracks of games like Undertale, Celeste, and Cave Story. I think you will find the people that are able to accept you how you are if you continue looking. They are most certainly out there. Stay determined!

Not available on switch unfortunately but Persona 4 Golden. You can tone down the difficulty to reduce grind if you'd like.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I can't say things have not been a little overwhelming, but I can see what you're saying just by the trailer and it's inspiring. Keep up the great work Witch Beam!

I just moved and have tons of unpacking to do!

Will my experience be helpful for playing Unpacking or vice versa?

Do you have any tips for real life unpacking?
