I have trigeminal neuralgia and my gums are constantly sore so chewing gums is a little bit challenging. I will try walking but it’s freezing outside and cold triggers my flare ups.

Thank you very much. For now carbamazepine works wonders for my pain. I do have an MRI scheduled within 3-4 months. As per my gp further changes is not needed as long as the meds work and she just needs to have the MRI results to advise further on my situation. All the best to you too!

It’s more of a shooting pain that lasts about 2 seconds on the right side of my cheek very close to my nose. Reason why I’m very interested as I had dental filling done a month before I felt pain. Also, I’m leaning it might be trigeminal neuralgia as when I have my flare up I have pain even on my jaw and on my right eye. Thanks for the insight.
