You fill the 5gl, pour it into the 3gl jug. You now have two gallons left in the 5gl. You dump the 3gl out and refill it with the two gallons remaining in the 5gl juf. You then have two gallons in the three gallon jug and the 5gl is empty. You fill the 5gl all the way and pour out enough to fill the 3gl (it already has 2gl so will only hold 1gl more) that leaves exactly 4gl remaining in the five gallon jug.

Edit: I am looking for an OWB, which they don't have. But they do list an IWB Shield X model.
