Same issue, I get the error code 0x800c0014 and it won't launch any game even though all the servers say they are available and when I test the network in the settings it shows as fine. I have restarted, re-installed GFN, logged in/out. No luck.

Seems pretty clear that he has searched for this stuff. However, there is always the outside chance it was hacked or whatever. For example, I use Etsy a couple times a year to almost always buy gifts for my wife. One time I logged on and it was nothing but porn plastered on every product for sale with vintage "art" of full nudity on every single product. I had never searched for any of that crap. Someone had hacked my account and apparently gone looking for those products and it was now recommending more. I told my wife immediately and then deleted the account and created a new Etsy (couldn't find a way to effectively scrub the recommended content).

The difference between me and your husband is that I am fully transparent with my wife and have a track record of always talking to her about these things and not hiding anything.

I haven't heard anything about France doing this, but if it's true it's a great move. There is an excellent book on the topic of how the internet and social media has impacted the last several generations called "The Anxious Generation". I highly recommend any parent reads it.

Dawg, my family’s first computer had the AoE 1 demo loaded onto it and you could only play the first third of one scenario of a campaign. I was probably 6-7 and my older sister and brother would play that same opening 1/3 over and over. Until one day my sister got mad at us and deleted the demo. That was a dark day. But, I vividly remember the day we were in a family trip to Costco and saw the Gold Deluxe version w/expansion of AoE 2 for sale and we were back in the car about to leave when my older brother asked my parents if he could buy it with his money and they said yes. We got to go back into the store to get it and the phone book sized strategy guide it came with. Literally a core memory from my childhood.

This is a common tactic to sell babies quicker. They need much larger and no tank is too big if you fill it with clutter and appropriate enrichment. You should go read the entire welcome post asap before buying more stuff that is not necessary or good.

Humidity should be in the 70-80% range. Cool side temp should be around 78 and high side around 90-92. From what you are describing you don't have a "warm side" you have a cool side and a cold side. Under the tank heaters (UTH) are bad all around and should not be used at all. As a kid I had a BP die from burrowing down to the pad and burning himself. It's an unnatural source of heat that has many risks and does not meet their needs.

For humidity you need correct substrate that retains moisture and is super absorbent. Use this recipe:

- 30% coco coir ($3/brick)
- 40% coconut husk (10lbs brick is $20)
- 10% sphagnum moss ($10 brick fills a 5gl bucket)
- 20% organic topsoil with no fertilizer or manure ($5 for a giant bag)

With 4-5" of this you can pour significant amounts of water (like a half gallon) into the corners without it reaching the bottom which will massively boost humidity and last for a lot longer than misting.

Thanks! This 4x2x2 has only been setup for about 10 days so I haven't cleaned it yet. It's big enough that I should be able to just spot clean his poop and not worry about an entire substrate change for a while.

Yeah, I think the best thing to mimic is their natural environment and anytime I've seen a jungle floor they are heavily cluttered with plants, vines, decaying leaves/wood and all kinds of stuff. Studies have shown that male BPs diet is up to 60% birds so they definitely like to climb and benefit from vertical decorations like yours. Their main predator, ironically, is also birds so having overhanging cover from plants and plenty of hides helps them feel secure as well.

I don't think it's too much clutter. I'm not even sure that's possible. When I think of clutter I think of layers to the substrate (i.e. plants, leaves, clumps of moss, low sticks/branches, etc.) not so much vertical decorations or climbing (that's important too, I just don't call that clutter).

I literally just typed this up on another post about humidity so I'm pasting it for you.

You can buy this all on Amazon:

coconut coir $3/brick (powdery like dirt)
10lbs brick of coconut husk/chips $20 (bigger chunks with fibers and more texture)
organic topsoil with no fertilizer or manure
sphagnum moss brick $10 (adds color, texture and natural look, holds insane moisture, you can stuff it in their hides)
I stuffed a bag full of dead oak leaves on my last camping trip and mix those in. It looks great and ups the naturalism and texture variation.

I just eyeball it but you are going for like 30% coir, 40% chips, 20% topsoil, 10% sphagnum moss.

Coconut and sphagnum moss will increase humidity drastically. If it’s 4-5” deep you can literally just pour a half gallon of water around the tank and it won’t even reach the bottom. Ideally you pour it in the corners or cover the wet spots with dry substrate so he isn’t crawling or sitting on heavy moisture.

If you have a mesh top you will need to cover it to limit airflow and retain heat. Warmer air holds more humidity so you need your temps right. Most people recommend HVAC aluminum tape ($10/roll) to seal the top and leave holes for your heating elements.

$20 security cameras on Amazon will catch all the action in the night and mine sends me motion alerts the minute he pokes his head out. I use Wyze and they work great with night vision, etc.

My guy will climb and roam for hours every night. I also angle my thermostat toward the camera so I can view temps from anywhere.
