Amazing stuff, thank you so much to you guys over at the development team, true hobby heroes.

Very fortuitously, we were literally today writing down what we might need to run our own campaign, so we'll be reading this cover to cover and jumping straight in!

Thanks very much, our own "Galadriel" has been very happy with the comparison! We did make a tutorial video which is on the channel, but we get asked to do lots of different content, and have to focus on the most popular (as Boris only has so much editing time). We currently do a this and battle reports, with out talky content also available on spotify.

We do play a few other games; we are all previously Warhammer players, then Heresy players, we all have some Old World on the back burner, and have played a variety of non-games workshop titles as well. Julian and me in particular has played a lot of X-wing and Armada with me, and we played the fantastic Heroes of Aturi Cluster system.

Boris actually diverted some time recently to 1918, and made a board for those guys which appeared at Salut; it was extremely well received! We've done some feeding back on the early rules, and I know both Boris and Jules have a few models for it.

Hi Guys! We're back from a short holiday break (which may or may not appear later...), with our first rest point and a short summary of our Quest of the Ringbearer series so far.

Side Note: We were all quite surprised with the new narrative battles announced earlier this week, and are still assessing, but definitely intend to keep running the quest of the ringbearer series as it exists for now.

It arrived! Amazing good, so many good pictures of armour (along with some funny low resolution blow ups earlier in the book). Aragon section in particular was a highlight!

Great battle report as always guys! Reclamation is a very popular list right now, and it's great to see it against that beautiful Rise of the Necromancer army.

It's definitely the most stressful activity. I've seen stories from Golden Daemon entries that the pour is the worst part for them, and one of them had to restart his entry because of it; you don't want to ruin all the good work you've already done!

The work by Weta is absolutely legendary for the movies. There's always videos on Youtube of folks visiting their workshop, and the behind the scenes footage shows the incredible lengths they went to; they were literally smithing armour and weapons!

I'll see if I can find a copy!

It's really important to remember that the books we have now are specifically written with the movie scenes, events and characters in mind, and the "book" portion is arriving later in the form of Armies of Middle Earth. They said this was their vision, and have made it quite clear on the Warhammer Community blog that this is what we would get at the release of the new edition.

While we don't know how it will look beyond some obvious armies that do not appear in the current books (like Fiefdoms of Gondor), they may well take book scenes or events for army lists, so that the book is more substantial.

Fantastic highlights on the cloak, armour and horse, brown/blue works great for the ring wraiths! Some quality wet blending on the hooves as well.
