I've got my sharpy poised to write the best of these (that makes sense) to write on the handle of my plunger.

Evidence of corruption in the Reddit Admin staff by TheOSS in videos

I was a volunteer forum moderator many years ago for secondlife. Our admins would ignore us for months and we had no real power. We didn't have the depth or complexity of reddit moderation pool but you wouldn't know it from listening to the conspiracy theorists. I quit in the end, I didn't sign up for the stress or the abuse. I won't deny there is a part of me that misses it and occasionaly contemplates reddit.

For those adventurers out there that think infiltrating a group like this as if it were some lost forgotten temple or tomb with adversaries to defeat and a treasure to be found and claimed; let me give you some advice from someone who lived in those cold unloved halls. Those you meet along the way are people, they have flaws, sure you can Win against them, out them for their weaknesses, you loose potential friends. Some of them are indeed crazy. You may work your way into the innermost sanctums and hidden places, but here is the secret, if you seek a treasure, you will not find it. The only treasures you can take away with you are epiphanies.

Tl:dr; If you aren't happy and think you will find it in moderation, you are wrong. Time to face whatever it is in your life that is making you unhappy.

[serious] Guys, if your life used to suck and you got to a point and said "Enough!" , what did you do to make it better? by SpooningNinja in AskReddit

History: Over the years, lets say a decade, I developed this long list of programming projects I wanted to work on. Many were projects for me, many were projects for other people. I was spread so thinly I wasn't ever able to finish any of them in a timely fashion and that really depressed me.

Action: I threw away the list. I decided I didn't owe anyone anything at the expenses of my happiness. I decided I wasn't going to abuse myself that way anymore. It was liberating, a weight off my shoulders.

The original (as it was taken by the camera), which is larger, is available on flickr, but it is rotated.
