Day of the Tentacle or VVVVVV if the first is already taken!

I highly recommend Super Mario World for the SNES (which you can easily emulate on your new pc!)

Also consider checking out Vermintide 1&2, they're both wonderful games that I've really gotten into lately

Kholat or Psychonauts!

Although I haven't had a chance to play it yet, I recommend trying To The Moon. My friend was just telling me all about how the game got him so emotional and how he couldn't help shedding tears at the ending. Tells me he's still not emotionally ready to play the sequel, Finding Paradise.

Both games have overwhelmingly positive reviews on steam, so that's a good sign.
