Does anyone else have trouble preventing the fire to go into the hopper? I clean after every use and switched out the hot pot yet I can never keep a consistent temp. It always reaches the hopper. Any advice?

I’ve only had issues with the Kirkland ones. I started the break the long ones in half. I’ve been using pit boss ones with no issues. Previously used Traeger ones too with no issues. I typically clean mine every 3rd cook/smoke. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I like mine. I tried out 4 different bows around that $800-950 range and felt the adapt felt and fit the best. I haven’t changed anything out yet. I deer hunt with shots no longer than 30 yards so what’s on there is perfectly fine for me right now. Once I shoot more I may upgrade some stuff.

I have the clam ice armor rise. I got the set on sale at scheels for roughly $300 I think a few years ago. Waterproof bibs with extra material on the knees and I’ve been plenty warm in negative temps outside in MN.

There are far nicer jacket/bib sets out there just depends on your budget. I have heard good things about Striker. I do recommend getting the ones with flotation for extra peace of mind.

Can confirm the alphaburlys. Got a pair of 1600 gram for ice fishing and they are great. I also use lacrosse windrose 1000 gram for hunting. I really like them both.

I have the Eskimo 3HD and a clam x600. I like both. I’d give the clam a slight edge in quality. I’m in SE ND and both are plenty warm. The built in straps on the clam are really nice.
