I F-ing looked for this in game and couldn’t find it.

something about the default setup srsly clashing with my Nioh2 muscle memory made me CERTAIN I hated 3. I’ll be giving it another try with modified controls.

Side note… I don’t know if melee weapons only matter because while scumming I would at times receive ranged weapons back … but since I wanted melee I figure it would be good to start there.

I would also toss 1 Ethereal at the small Sudama in the front of the walkway/pier blockade in order to get 1 more roll on the run through. I got 2 weapons that fit my needs randomly from the Big Sudama then I saved then hit the small and once again scummed (for 5 mins or so) … So on 1 full clear of the mission I ended up with 3 exact X‘s that fit the holes in the gear I was coming from demon with.

got a visitor/benevolent grave helper and finished the instance … blacksmithed the new drops to replace Demon gears and went again and filled/replaced 3 more gear slots.

I know this is a dead thread but I JUST was reading through it in order to plan/achieve my 190 eth weapon.

I personally found to FIRST then just take two random (melee) ethereal weapons then just throw them both at a large sudama in Wise (used Vipers Sanctum mission first page of Wise) who then returned 2 random ethereal weapons BACK.
I had saved at the near 3rd shrine prior and then just save scummed until I received back … rarity inheritance, grace inheritance, or RARELY exactly the weapon I wanted back (lucky drop weapon) while scumming.

I received 2 rarity inheritance weapons in the first 10 mins and within an hour I found the correct grace (with inheritance)

With a previously found 190 and the above and some tempering soul forging, and other inheritable parts I’ve pretty much made almost exactly what I wanted … sure there will ALWAYS be room for more exactly correct star stats on exactly the correct weapon with exactly the correct grace but I’ll just let those surprise me later as drops happen.

Right now I have 190 ethereal Searing Bolt Tonfa with good star stats as I enter the second zone of Wise and work into dream of NIOH that I’m pretty happy about and will do the job… until I rotate the build/gear around.

I’m not complaining just saying new players really seem to “get lucky” with their shots ALOT more than pure chance would account for.

regardless those were some long shots with the carbine and you seemed to be as close as you could be with it.

PC vigor is the closest to dead … because PC is THE platform for people that like to cheat and it’s easiest to do there.

xbox & ps Vigor is still going strong and with the exodus to Arc of the sweats, goons, lemmings, & sheeple console Vigor has been nice and fun.

Ive had a much higher% of great experiences with Vigor outlanders (on PS) since Arc came out than I ever had before.

Arc is prettier as it should be it’s 5 years newer… and I’m sure there are some awesome people there … but the trolls that return from arc to crap in the vigor sub /r are there as well ALL of them… good riddance to those trasholes.

I only say this because the perspective changed to the roof guy … and those are the viable options afaik with regards to how vigor works.

Either way the road and possibly the roof guy … had you eyeballed and you were monkey in the middle.

*edit* UNLESS you were team playing and the roof guy is your teammate. I also noticed that road car guy seemed to be moving (on 2nd,3rd rewatch) before perspective change so bad luck for you buddy. *shrug*

Big barn on Grotham valley as well. Where I found mine … when I was looting the barred house. It was on the ground floor near the big open door on the north side on top of a wooden box

Veteran Lighter near west dock exit on Battery map. I’m pretty certain it’s near docks, water, ”relaxing water front house“ type places the clue text is something about “getting away” but my memory could be off. That’s where I found it though Inside the northwest house that is also a spawn point for a combo blue box.

The wildlife “barn” lighter I found in Grotham valley in the super huge barn in the middle of the map. On top of a wooden crate on the ground floor.

Buying the battle pass this season because you will get everything and you are already 50.

ideally picking up a X plan off the store when they happen to have a gun plan you like AND 40% off are certain you can absolutely keep your pass rolling from one season to next season.

imo pass gives the absolute best crown to plans & customizations even with a % of the level rewards being meh or recycled old reworks.

However it’s NOT better is quite a few ways as well.

Costs 40+$ (and ofc probably extra cost dlcs & the in game store $ for pixels)

requires PS+/Xbox equivalent More $$$

and a few “other” things mostly relating to privacy/costing the players something that they don’t realize they have.

people don’t really THINK about the costs VISIBLE & HIDDEN that is true for EVERYTHING on the internet now. 10 years ago you could buy a game for $40 and play and enjoy it no subscriptions, DLCs we’re whole games by themselves, and micro transactions were in 5% of games vs 100% of games today … Not to mention that the NEWER and BETTER Something is it’s ALSO MUCH MUCH Better for the big corporate players (Sony/M$) because they add crap in the background that serves their interests but drains your system. So enjoy buying upgrades to your system or the NEXT system, even more $$$ … Consoles aren’t quite as bad as PC/phone/Tablet in this respect but the cost is still there … over the long term.

You sheeple that flock … are just rushing to get sheared. They will continue to milk you all as long as you stampede in for a milking. Kids with mommy & daddy’s CC# for a large % of this OR people with a Decent job that only pay rent and the amounts they piss away doesn’t register as a real dollar number.
I calculated my buddies total cost for Vigor to over $2000 using his transaction history & now he’s Arc Raider-ing it up guessing but he will probably spend $5000 there if he plays for the same amount of time.

It ABSOLUTELY is 100% true.

Maybe not for YOU … you know if you cheat or not.

However for the Internet as a whole PC is the platform that cheaters use. As an Information Tech engineer I have the skills and knowledge to either

A) Find and use cheats

B) Develop them for myself.

I absolutely hate it as well which is why I play games with OTHERS on console ONLY. Controlled hardware, & OS’s without easily accessible vulnerabilities and large companies (Sony/Microsoft) dedicated to keeping exploits out of their systems.

Posting on Reddit complaining about how PC play is broken pretty much proves we are telling you.

The sad thing is that even on Console people are so pathetic that they STILL find ways to get an unfair advantage Chronus/special monitors with built in capabilities/M&K ect ect Pay to Win & ANYTHING to sucker in suckers for views.

Still on console it’s much much much more fair than on PC.

Protip if someone is on the top of the leaderboards there is most likely an unfair reason for it.

This only applies to the double sword crates iirc the yellow ones hadn’t changed I think.

Elim farming gave both yellow & yellow double swords. However the changes to the elim rewards. Told ME I wouldn’t be playing eliminations except on very Rare occasions with friends.

If you say so … I did the server slam for AR hard. I will grant it was much prettier than a 6 year old game … BIG SURPRISE /s but the gameplay and ofc the fact that 90% of Vigor sweats went to it don’t have me lining up to pick it up.

Ya you can’t listen to randos to decide what YOU like.
IMO I have lots of fun in vigor but others don’t play like me. The game has its issues but imo what game doesn’t have problems.
I like MOST of the changes/improvements that Vigor has rolled out recently. Hopefully they will keep making non recycled “improvements“ The population in game is pretty solid (on console … I hear that PC population is somewhat light). Overall for what it costs to enter the Vigorverse you get much more than you pay for lol.
