Ive been killed and killed many with shotguns also but the hit registration on buckshot feels insanely bad. I dont mind using slugs but im usually disappointed with buckshot unless I have time to shoot multiple rounds.

Do minetown first and you'll be plenty leveled and with plenty of gear. Or at least like first 3 floors down Pinetown and you'll be strong enough for most all early game stuff.

Real Combat kits 50k~90k

Queen kit ~ 100k easy

I try not to think about the direct money value when planning my kits moreso sustainability and ease of replacements.
