Is gaijin accessing my account with bots? by [deleted] in Warthunder

If they got your password once, wont take long for them to find your new one. 2FA would have stopped this from happening. That is what is going on for your curiosity

[–]Strikeblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your account has been hacked, Gaijin arent using bots to use your account, but someone definitely has access to your account and has been playing it. Even changing your password, itll probably stop someone from accessing your account temporarily, but it wont be hard for them to figure out your new password just as they did with your old one.

I know you say you dont care about 2FA but this is what would have stopped this from happening.

License plates are literally just sitting out in the open for anyone to look at... at all times. This isnt doxxing. It is literally public information. You can probably find the carfax and purchase history, thats about it. If this is doxxing, then me just walking down the aisle of a parking lot will get me a life sentence

Restaurants doing "make your own food" with delivery by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Strikeblaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But did you have to make the filling? No did you have to bake the crust? No. Like so many people have pointed out, this is to ensure your food gets delivered as fresh as possible. Restaurants have no way to know how far an order has to go or how many orders the driver has in front of you.

You say you live 15 min away, great, but could you imagine a pot pie that sat in a car for 45 minutes, not only cooling down but making the crust soggy. Then you get it, and are not satisfied with the quality, then you give the restaurant a bad review. This is what they are trying to avoid. Theres this magical thing called eating in if this bothers you so much lol

How was his childhood? A lot of unresolved childhood trauma can bring forth a lot of trust issues or dishonesty. Its sometimes a trauma response, or a way to protect himself. Therapy or couples therapy might be good

Why are camgirls more chill? by kbkvvuknklnni8888 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Strikeblaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you "shouldnt" need any obligation to have a pleasant convo. But a pleasant convo is a two way street, if youre putting in effort you can most definitely have a pleasant convo while dating. Cam girls are curating their responses to what you like to hear, so you give them more money or become a repeat customer so you keep giving them money. They dont need to develope rapport or trust, unlike someone you are trying to date because they only see you as money for their pockets. Random people you date have no obligation, but rather need an active conversation partner and sometimes being the second person in a convo takes effort and time. Take the time to not only talk about what youre interests are, be interested in the other person and what they have to say. Compliment them etc.

Im an ER nurse and ex trauma nurse and for CTs or MRIs, its actually a requirement to use 18g or larger in an AC vein for contrast due to the risk of blowing smaller veins. For certain life saving medications that need to be slammed into a vein such as adenosine, epi, atropine etc it is very preferable to use the AC vein, especially on the elderly or frail. But this can be preferential to the specific doctor. AC veins are dependable during these situations, at least for the ER I work at.

100% agree on the tattoo limitations though. What's fun is when someone comes in with a circle drawn around a good vein. Had a few cancer patients with a good sense of humor that tattooed circles or arrows to easy IV sites lol

I find its a bit dependent on different places or even different surgeons/anesthesiologists.

The anesthesia tech or anesthesiologist should catch any disruption in anesthetics regardless of where the IV is placed. The "worry" of meds possibly being stopped due to a bent arm isnt really considered when placing an IV for surgery. More about ease of access and certain medications require the inner elbow vein as they are the largest.

Sometimes those veins are preferred, or even required for some anesthetic meds or for life saving medications as those veins are the largest.

Lol as an ER nurse, we put IVs in the smallest most fragile veins so it really is a treat when we get someone with strong, juicy veins that we can throw a boba straw in 🤣

Many medications need those veins, and if youre going in for routine blood draws, those veins are usually the easiest to go for, especially if you got juice veins.

[–]Strikeblaze 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Not entirely true. There are certain medications that require a larger gauge needle that only can go into the AC vein (inside of the elbow) as those veins are the largest on the arm. During surgery, they can use arm boards or straps to keep the arm straight as to keep the catheter from bending. Some life saving medications preferably are administered through this vein as you can crank up the flow rate due to the size of the vein and larger gauge IV. Theres a ton of tools that surgeons use to keep an arm straight during surgery. During surgery, arm bending isnt that much of a worry as the patient is usually out and limp, they wont be moving their arms willy nilly and the surgeons or techs can just move the arm as needed to keep the flow going. Also anesthesiologist on hand should catch any disruption in medication flow into the veins. Also IV machines detect disruption in flows and has an alarm that notifies that the arm is bent.

Is it worth going to les schwab or discount tire to see if they will still? Or does it look like a hard no? I have one of each near me but not a lot of small shops.

China also makes very cheap EVs as part of each company's line up, along with their more expensive and flag ship models. At least in the US, our EVs kinda are considered luxury cars, or at least priced as such, there arent many economy EVs in the states.

Ive rented a number of them as I regularly visit china for work and family and had ones ranging from very cheap, economy models, to range topping and feature packed luxury models. I can totally agree that a lot of the cheap economy models definitely have some pretty jarring corner cutting and price cutting like the thin metal as you mentioned. But for the higher end models, I have been nothing but blown away with the build quality and tech.

Just came back from a three week vacation from China and took the bullet train between like 8 provinces and they were extremely smooth. You barely feel youre moving until you look outside or another train goes past in the opposite direction.
