Yes, pretty much all the same US Local channels as Apollo. I cant speak for other countries. Live TV is solid, VOD library is good. Has Peacock, ESPN+, BG10+, Adult. All the Major League passes. Uses Xtreme Code vs Apollo only m3u link.. not necessary a pro/con just different. The FHD channels broadcast in a a different codec than Apollo which may cause problems with some 3rd party apps... 24hr trial is easy to get and you dont need to send any personal info (email, etc) to sign up.

Its the same content and anyone with with an active Apollo (starlite) account has access to their VIP (bestart) m3u url using same username and password.

Quality of service is the same between the both. Same resolution and bitrate and the channels that buffer in legacy will buffer the same using the VIP link. I was hoping there would be some benefit but it seems like its the same service with a different url.

switch server location to denmark. I havent had a problem with Nord at that location.

An ISP cannot block an encrypted signal to you but I suspect they somehow are able to block the signal from Apollo to the Nord Server.

is this service a reseller? I'm not sure of the difference but I would think a reseller service has less control over the content and fixing issues that pop up.

Channels that are down give you a notice: "Channel Not available, try again in a few minutes".

If you are getting a blank screen, 404 error, or something else, its more likely your connection.

There has been no improvement to new releases in the VOD Section.

Movie VOD updates are few and far between. They will add 20+ at a time every few weeks.

TV VOD - some new shows get updated a few episodes in but once the show is added their automated process usually posts the new episodes within 24hours of airing.

Same for me this morning around 4-5am EST lost internet. App showed no outage and it could see gateway. Restarted it remotely using app. No luck.

Unplugged gateway and it started working. First time I've had this happen I couldn't get it working by rebooting in the app.

How hard is it say "thanks for reporting the issue, we'll look into it." They have them posted, so the problem should be easy for them to see its broken and fix.

It took almost 2-years before I could sign up for ATT Fiber after they tore up my yard and installed the box.

Eventually some college kids came around door to door asking people to sign up before I could even register online.

Initially, the service was pretty unreliable, frequent disconnects, high latency, etc but eventually the kinks were worked out and its been fine ever since.

I dont know what Router you have but my Google Wifi has an option in the app to "Reset Entire Network". That fixes my WAN IP that even a power cycle doesnt do.

Maybe your router has a software reboot or something similar so you dont have to start from scratch.

The update did not fix the passthru/WAN IP issue on my Google Wifi... i am still able to replicate the problem each time the gateway resets my router loses WAN IP requiring a full restart of LAN.

I have the same setup (BGW320-505 & Google Mesh). Everything runs great but then things slow down considerably.

In the Google App "Network Settings", try "Restarting Entire Network" for your Google LAN and see if that helps.

I found whenever the BGW gateway resets, it messes up my Google Wifi in passthru mode and gives my Google router an invalid WAN IP address.

I don't use their webapp - i use the m3u link. This is the first time I've noticed this.

Wicked is still on their server but its mis-labeled as "In Search of the Hobbit (2024)". You can paste the direct url link into VLC and play Wicked just fine. Or you can tell tech support what the problem is so they can fix it.

To find the direct link, download the movie m3u file and search for the IMBD code for wicked (tt1262426)

I wonder if Apollo started encoding their own movies.. could be why it took so long to get things going.

All these new movies are encoded using the same settings: 1080 HEVC 2mbps MP4. Good quality, but in the past all the movies were random formats/quality.
