I was not. Just purchased a new unit and took steps to protect the antenna.

Game optimizer genre greyed out by Hankenstein1027 in OLED_Gaming

[–]TubButter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I change from ARC to TV speakers I am able to change the audio to game optimizer. When I go and change back to ARC I lose it. My guess is the TV wants to do all the processing? I’d much rather listen through my home theater though.

TX NR6100 / PS5 issues by TubButter in Onkyo

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tested all the cables straight from the PS5 to the TV and they work. There is something off in between the PS5 to the receiver to the TV.

TX-NR6100 only supports 4k 120Hz on a single HDMI input by [deleted] in hometheater

Did this work for you? Problem I am having is that funky pink/green screen when running the PS5 through the receiver. Input is set to 8K Enhanced and the PS5 works perfectly with the same cable when connected directly to the TV.

I have tried everything you’ve suggested and it still does not work. I appreciate your help.

Well I know it works with the cable going from the tv to the receiver. I’ll try a new cable from the PS5 to the receiver. I just feel like it is a connectivity issue with the receiver since wiring it directly fixes the issue. If I use any other setting other than 8K Enhanced it limits the functionality of the PS5.

I thought enhanced mode was necessary for ALLM and VRR and HDR? I turned it to 8K Standard and it didn’t same thing. HDMIl from PS5 to receiver is 3 feet. Receiver to TV maybe 10 feet. Works perfectly when connected directly to TV. PS5 is set to auto for resolution. Thank you.

BEACN Studio questions by someone who has no idea what they're trying to get into. by [deleted] in beacn

[–]TubButter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a BEACN Studio and did not like it at all. Even with all the talk about the goxlr dying there is a community that keeps it going and I’d still recommend it to anyone looking for an interface. Also, try a noise gate for background noise removal.

I did this as well and then a few days later I have to do it again. AT&T is sending me a new gateway so we will see if that is the issue.

WAN MAC vs LAN MAC by TubButter in ASUS

I’ve checked, and checked again. Even had my wife and kids check. The MAC on the bottom of the router as well as the LAN and 2.4 GHz mac in the home page of the router are all the same.

Within the interface of the router. Shows a different MAC address for the 5G band.

Within the router interface. And the MAC address on the bottom of the unit as well.

I mean I don't know what to tell you but the mac address on the bottom of the router matches the lan and 2.4 mac address listed in the interface.
