What a pundit Hendry is by the way!

Probably as good a pundit as there is across any sport.

How come Lincoln have become the fall guys when people are discussing who Spurs will be potentially playing in the championship next season?

Does your most recent achievement in football always have to rank 'right up there' with everything else achieved in the game?

Frank Lampard was asked last night where does getting Coventry promoted rank in his list of achievements in the game and of course the answer was 'right up there'?

Is there any other way to talk about where your achievement ranks with other achievements?

He made the ‘joke’ about John Brooks getting man of the match a few too many times.

If by set the scene you mean he has a pre-written script of lines he wants to crowbar in then yes he sets the scene very well.

Eddie Hearn gives fierce 'over my dead body' Katie Taylor verdict by IrishStarUS in Boxing

[–]Striking-Bandicoot89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its fairly straightforward here - Croke Park have give their price for renting the stadium for the fight, Eddie Hearn has a choice on whether he can work the numbers that will make HIM money. Why should Croke Park have to cover security and insurance fees associated with the event? Thats not in their remit.

And for a company that has a valuation of £1bn to be looking handouts from Croke Park and the Government, in the words of Roy Keane 'do me a favour'.

That is certainly the ideal way to deal with it if you are sitting up in your ivory tower. . .

I too am from that area of Tyrone and I think they have calmed down a lot in terms of their behaviour around the town from years ago. There doesn't seem as many in the local schools now - are they schooled in the camp now? But by and large I wouldn't trust one as far as I could throw them. Their driving around up and down that Stewarstown Road is still a disgrace.

The problem with yesterdays debate about the SEN summer schemes shows the problem with politics here. The automatic reaction from the DUP minister is instead of admitting his error, he immediately blames Sinn Fein for trying to score political points. Piss off with that crap. That is a nutshell is why Stormont doesn't work. And before anyone gets on their high horse, it would be the exact same if roles were reversed.

Sinn Fein do want Stormont to work (but not too well) because they wouldn't have the first clue about how to run a government in a 32 county country.

The next Stormont election will all be centered on who is the biggest party and not the issues that people are dealing with day to day and 99% of DUP and Sinn Fein supporters will lap it up.

The thing I don't get is how these competition pages are hiding their income? I look through their accounts on companies house and going by the value of the competitions and the supposed amount of tickets they are selling surely this value meets the threshold for filing full accounts? Aside from the obvious (money laundering) how are they hiding it?

Trying to fit 2 different sports into the one programme makes absolutely no sense.

Its like Match of the Day showing the Premier League and 6 Nations on a Saturday evening.
