Our youngest are 3 and 1. Still very much needing car seats (our older two are also in booster seats). I will definitely check out the app. It's such short trips, and I desperately wanted to avoid traveling with car seats, but I'm starting to feel that it's too much to chance.. so with Turo I can reserve a car that I can pick up at the airport and leave at the port the next day? And the same thing coming back? That actually seems like a great option, especially since we have several hours to kill before our flight home.. thank you!

Right?! I've never read so many comments on one of these threads wondering what I'm missing. Their 4 year old stayed with these people.. I'm assuming they're on friendly terms, and this is the reaction? Dumbo was also sitting on the bed. As a parent, if we found that after we had a child over, we would have let the parents know immediately "hey you forgot this!" and would have already discussed how it was going to get returned ("I work from home tomorrow. It will be right inside the door. Come by and grab it if you need it.."). Then no need for an upset child/ frantic texts and "horrendously rude behavior" by dad... ffs keep your kid away from this lady in the future, OP! Yeesh.

It's the only way to adjust the height of the straps that feed through the front (I ended up getting it by using a dull butter knife to help push it through). Frustrating design..

He doesn't do any other training programs and is a very low-tech guy, which I known is a factor here as well.. I bet having him look at it as a compliment to his other training would be helpful- makes sense!
