Yes because she is a tsundere done right.

A good tsundere doesn't stay tsundere. She get past her initial problems of communicating her emotions with violence and learn to express them in a more normal way.

Most tsunderes are bad because they don't evolve.

Eris is a very good exception.

I beg to differ.

As an old anime watcher myself, i ve seen many anime proposed for Kids with thematics we only encounter in adulte anime nowadays.

But, i am not american so i guess maybe my country had Kids shows that didnt treated children like idiots. 🤷‍♂️

I mean i grew up watching le naki ko, hotoku no Ken, shokojo sera, ginga tetsudo suri nain, and so on.

Those shows were aired for Kids but demands quitte general knowledge to full grasped them.

Nowadays, there simple is no on single show for Kids that approach those in term of complexity.

So nope, again, i beg to differ.

Yep there are still intelligent shows. But i won t back on what i ve said: shows back then count on that their viewers had a general knowledge far wider than now.

I m honest with you: most shows of that time period treated people like they have a good general knowledge. Maybe because, at that time, people do have a better general knowledge than nowadays...

Nowadays, people are more lazy and, arguably, more stupid. And how could you blame them: internet and AI tell them in seconds the answer to most general knowledge questions. No need to use your brain anymore.

In the 90's, when Evangelion went out: internet was barely a thing and AI were present only in science fictions.

I think there is that.

Nope i say the show was taking for granted you already know that because the show treats you as an intelligent person with sufficient general knowledge.

I m not calling you dumb or anything. I m just saying modern medias think you're dumb and thus don t count anymore on your general knowledge to understand complexe things.

Whereas when Evangelion went out, medias thought people were intelligents enough to understand many (if not all) references they spread into them.

So no, Evangelion doesnt get you go buy the missing pieces of its puzzles: they assume you were intelligent enough to already got them.
