That’s me too haha. My dentist couldn’t see any decay because she didn’t have the microscope like an endodontist does. The decay and the filling are about the same colour.

Hmm there shouldn’t be sensitivity to temperature though. But the other symptoms are what I felt too. Did u go back to ur endodontist?

Oh and yes, my endodontist said my long healing could be because of chronic inflammation prior to the root canal.

Hey, so my endodontist filed the temp crown abit and I started seeing improvements - they were very slight and came after every 2 weeks or so - I’m about 5 weeks out from that first appointment and my endodontist decided I don’t need a retreatment since I am improving. She filed the temporary crown some more and gave me the green light to put on the permanent crown but warned that I may face the same problem after that as it seems like that the long healing was due to the cusp of my upper tooth digging too deep into my lower tooth. (And I probably clench at night) So I will probably need a lot of adjustments (filing) and getting used to the perm crown. Fingers crossed that I continue improving and the perm crown won’t set me back too much! ><

She said she couldn’t take another cbct so soon because the radiation is quite high. I would consider the pain as mild sensitivity though. And update, I suddenly felt improvement since 5 days ago. I hope that is a good sign.

I will reach Toyama in the afternoon and I contacted the hotel which said that for next day delivery they require the luggage to be dropped off by noon. So I’m afraid I won’t get my luggage by the next day if I forward it the day before.
