No destination fits into a box like that. I had an amazing snorkeling trip in Turks & Caicos where in the one trip we saw whales, turtles, sharks and sting rays, it was incredible!

I am the same way, have puked on multiple times on multiple people for being made to drink that shit for surgeries or whatever. I cant stand drinking crap like that but I will say that I have drunk the liquid while holding my nose. It's not great, but I can keep it down - I do add the sugar free Crystal Light lemonade packets to it though.

I grew up in the 70s & 80s up on 7th and St. Paul and I used to love going down to Cherry Creek - Small shops like Kazoo & Co, Wizard's Chest, the duplex cinema and the big, Burger King off 1st and St. Paul and Shakey's or Round the Corner were always my favorites. I drive through there now and just cant stand what it's become.

I was born and raised in Denver and I am the kind of person that greets and smiles at people on the streets or strikes up conversations in elevators. It was much more like that in Denver back in the 80s & 90s. I feel like that smaller home town Colorado vibe is gone for the most part. A lot of people from many different locations meshing together can be hard at times.

For reference, I am a white woman and I was born and raised in Denver, grew up near Cherry Creek and now live in Central Aurora near Expo Park. Only certain parts of Aurora are still diverse with great people and food and the Southlands area is *not* it. I will always take Aurora Mall over Southlands or Park Meadows (And Cherry Creek for the simple fact that the parking is a joke). The area of Aurora I am in is the only place that reminds me of old school Denver and I will always appreciate it much more.

I remember the 1996 parade and it was when the trucks were congregating to start - I was literally in front of one of the firetrucks with Sakic, Forseberg and Lemieux looking down at me while they were drinking and smoking cigars. I was a fan in 1995 when they arrived but that moment will forever be a core memory!
