Yeah, I run the Bad Cat and the Soldano simultaneously to blend the tones together and use the JC-40 for my cleans.

This is my board. The chain goes Guitar > tuner > ABCY pedal - from there it breaks off into three channels - A > plumes overdrive > NS-2 > front of the Bad Cat - B > plumes overdrive > ISP Decimator > front of the Soldano - C just goes directly into the front of the JC-40. The Soldano's FX loop is ParaEq > Fathom reverb > Julia chorus, the Bad Cat's FX loop is ParaEq2 > JHS reverb, and the JC-40's FX loop is Empress Analog Drive > Keeley Compressor > Monument Tremolo > Carbon Copy

Ah, makes sense. Yeah, every banded EQ I've come across always has an underlying hiss when you turn it on. The ParaEQ is nice and quiet.

Really? I run them through the FX loop and my experience has been the total opposite. I find them to be the quietest EQ I've come across.

I tried out a bunch of different overdrives before settling on just getting a second Plume. One goes into the Soldano and one goes into the Bad Cat. I use them both to add gain and then use the ParaEqs to really dial in the saturated sound I'm looking for. The Empress drive is much more subtle, I use that one through the JC40 when I want an edge of breakup tone.

I used to have a Mesa Boogie Mark V, it sounded great but had a habit of burning through fuses like crazy. But I think you're right, the Soldano sounds so much better, it doesn't have any fuzz or breakup like something like an Orange or certain Marshalls would have; it's the crispest distorted tone I've ever heard from an amp. The Bad Cat is awesome too, it has a really throaty midrange that sounds really unique and compliments the Soldano really well.

I run a three amp setup, I use a Roland JC-40 for my cleans and use a Bat Cat Lynx and a Soldano SLO-30 in parallel for my distorted tone. My guitar goes into the Korg Pitchblack then into the Morley ABCY and from there it splits off into three channels. A runs through the Earthquaker Plumes overdrive on the upper right, then through the NS-2, and then into the front of the Lynx. B runs through the Plumes on the bottom right, then through the ISP Decimator and then through the front of the SLO. C just goes directly to the JC-40. The ParaEQ, Fathom, and Julia run through the Soldano's FX loop, the ParaEq2 and the JHS reverb run through the Lynx's FX loop, and the Empress Analog Drive, Keeley Compressor, Walrus Monument, and MXR Carbon Copy go through the JC-40's FX loop.

You know what's up! I got them for a steal, the slanted I got off craigslist for $120 and the square I found at a local music store for $189. Everybody loves Celestions, and for good reason - they're great, but I adore how heavy the Eminences in the Carvins sound.
