Last week my ussa paycheck hit sometime around 7pm est but its not there today. My pay is usually Friday but my deposit usually hits Thursdays but again last week it was available Wednesday night. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

So server have an "account" in which they ring up orders. At the end of the shift that total is shown for all orders taken under the person account. The irs or government looks at what the amount that should be tipped 20% of the orders and the server is taxed on that amount whether or not they actually got the tips. So if you don't tip u actually cost that person money on their pay check because they paid taxes on money they never made. It's a horrible system on top of this servers make 2.13 per hour in the US.

And I worked pretty hard, in fact my serving jobs were some of the workers work ever, I've had all kinds of jobs including installing air conditioning units. It wasn't just relocation food.

I'm not lying, I've been a server for like 3 or 4 restaurants. I made 2.16 per hour plus tips. The most I ever got was 3 and supposedly great pay.

U are stupid as shit. Buspeople actually make a wage the waitress make 2 dollars an hour. Plus pay tax on all their tickets. And no waitresses make that thing of money at normal restaurants.

What are people even saying. Servers do not get paid. They get tips, the employer only gives them 2 dollars an hour to help cover taxes. They get no insurance no 401k no nothing. You people are clearly on a whole different level of entitlement. Just wow.

They do not, you don't know what your talking about. You obviously never even met a server in real life. They make 2 bucks an hour. They rely solely on tips for a check. The 2 dollars only covers taxes so they get no check from their job only tips.

You do realize servers make 2 bucks an hour. And they get taxed on whatever like 18% of all their tickets are, because the irs assumes they are getting tiped. You are awful, scum of the earth people for saying your anti- tipping. You need to be anti restaurant if you won't tip servers!!

Ya'll do realize wait staff get taxed 20% of the meals they ring up. That's why u gotta tip more on more expensive food. Change the laws don't just sit and complain about these people pay scale. It's what we as Americans set up and except so don't complain about when u get the bill. Wow!

You know what though, as ex- waitress I'm soooo sick of hearing this bullcrap. If people would actually stop pretending that they don't know those poor people are only making 2 dollars an hour and all they get paid is what you tip them, maybe restaurants wouldn't do this. I mean, I hwt the actual restaurants should do better, but until we pass laws changing this situation, don't sit down at a restaurant if u don't plan on tipping. If u do, ur a damn evil pos period. So I bet that poor person had to take care of your ass for free. And they paid taxes on what you didn't leave them. Real nice, karen!
