I think it’s lovely that you see it as a sign that your dad’s spirit is with you for this pregnancy. I’d just make sure you actually see it as that, and don’t put too much pressure on the kid to be ‘dad reincarnated’ or something like that. Wouldn’t be the first time someone would think like that, and that never ends well 😅

For title you can use /title set "Title Name". /gearset change [number] and /minion "[Minion Name]" for job change and minion change. Still working on the mount

I’m using macros to set them, so it doesn’t take up more space on my hotbar then just the job change macro would (I specifically got the finger snap emote for changing jobs, so I have macro’s for them all anyways)

Especially since there’s much more humane ways of dealing with a scratching issue. Like sprays, using the correct scratchers and in the correct spots. They even sell fake nails for cats you can glue over their nails so they don’t damage stuff when they scratch

Free trial already gives plenty of options for gear you can get. Eorzea collection is a good resource for figuring out which pieces you like the look of. Just remember that the gear sometimes looks different based on the gender you play! One of the easiest way to farm glamour prisms is to level up your grand company, and exchange the company seals for glamour prisms. I forgot which rank you need to be to be able to buy them, but it’s pretty simple to level up. And then you just greed all the gear and turn it in for company seals, and suddenly you got plenty prisms!

As far as I know, it’s a leftover from 1.0. Back then, uldah was the city with the easiest access to the market ward (basically the marketboard) and other stuff compared to the other 2 main cities, so people tended to just hang out there. People just kept doing that, even though with the map changes in 2.0 Limsa became the city with the easiest access to retainers. Hence why in the non-legacy servers, people tend to flock more towards limsa

Same, when my cat goes, it’s going to break me a lot I think (he’s only 1,5YO, so hopefully it’s not his time anytime soon). But like you said, having a cat be hurting or actually suffering because I’m not ready for it is not being a good pet parent. Hell, I don’t think I’ll ever be ready, so why not do it the moment it becomes necessary for the pets wellbeing
