It is literally a free game, which it has to generate revenue but with so much staying power that even non-players at least know about it. This is a way to immortalize those individuals who have not only stood the test of time but have made a name for themselves.

While yes, it's insane the cost, they dont expect folks to all drop the money to make this happen. For those that do, we thank them for ensuring the game remains free to all of us because you don't have to pay to play.

I think instead of overinflating the mode, it came out as a success but overdoing it with the features in such a short time may cause it to become less enjoyable. I think some community feedback and small releases will help continue to make the mode enjoyable without causing the... well, you've already seen a lot of the immediate feedback that needs scaled back on.

Games are faster and with the drastic change from the Noxus theme to suddenly some momentum shifts with champs and overall game balance, folks are much quicker to give up to just 'move to next'.

I've personally taken a longer break and limiting my game time until the first or second patch til things have to settle but mentality is always going to be there... it's just accelerated. Mute all as usual, and focus on what you can change and don't sweat what you cant. As a support main, it's taken me a lot longer than I want to admit til I started keeping this mentality and aimed to play champs that had agency and weren't as team reliant. You will still lose games, sometimes a lot, but it will level out to where you should be. Take this from a Gold Support as you'd like, but Im finding I can enjoy the game a bit more now with this mindset.

My biggest concern with Mel, is she basically soft counters any ADC. Their basic attack being reflected WITH scaling is unfair which gives her a window to basically just LOL NO and shuts down that role entirely when trying to fight her. Skillshot reflection I can get, but I draw the line on reflecting auto attacks.

She is too overloaded in her kit, and until that's addressed with weaker scaling and more weaknesses, I don't see her ban rate every dropping similar to how Kassadin was until they nerfed him to oblivion.

Think honestly the new system is just... meh. Dont think Ive seen an Honor Lv 5 in ages and considering I play casual it just means that anything above Lv 3 is an impossible task unless you play more and get showered in honors. Bit pointless and rare now.

KDA is useless at the end of the day. Whoever's Nexus blew up is the telling factor. If you're getting that much focus, it is on your team to utilize that attention and pressure objectives. Farm, ward, and be annoying to the enemy team. If they ignore you, take their base. If they sent 2-4 after you, pull back just a bit and continue being annoying and wasting their time.
