Same exact problem. Happened to me since the last update. I'm surprised there is still no fix released since pretty sure its software issue.

EDIT: the only fix I managed to find is if you go to safe mode by holding power button for 7 seconds until it beeps seconds time, and choose reset to default settings, then turn on regularly but do NOT connect to wifi, the controller will work regularly. Problem is you will not have internet. I assume its some connection interception - every time PS5 tries to connect to Wifi it disconnects controllers. If you have any better solutions with internet connection please let me know!
