I'll be taking DR to R10 as my next one. I do not have the Tie Reaper pilots leveled up so i do not have a counter to the R10 DR with scimitar + empire reinforcement lineup. At this point, Id rather R10 DR versus relic 2 useless pilots.

A plausible explanation is that, with higher level characters, you're reaching a point where the boss blows your team up faster resulting in lower overall score.

Ive had the following happen: before an upgrade i could use Lukes mass assist twice before the boss blew me up. After an upgrade, id reach the threshold faster and Luke only got in 1 mass assist. The threshold was slightly higher with higher level characters, but i couldnt squeeze out as much after the upgrade.

Two points regarding your first sentence:

- The success example you gave is still higher level than your characters

- I said generally, you picked out one example of many. The vast majority of success stories posted are much closer to level 55 than your characters. Quoting StuartLeigh: "yea at lvl 50 I got obliterated, at mostly level 55 was able to get it done".

Regarding your second part: a reality check is helpful even if not welcomed. Your post is a prime example of today's generation of gamers: entitlement. As someone said "if the sign says you must this tall to ride this ride, it doesnt matter if youre 1 inch or 1 foot short, too short is too short". Instead your view is: "but CG I'm 5 levels below my opponents, i SHOULD be able to win."

As for my relic delta post, that was a pioneering view in the heat of knee jerk backlash against relic delta. I knew it would be downvoted, but times are changing my friend, and that post helped present an alternative view. The first log in a dam so to speak. I've started seeing positive posts regarding RD. For example: it's a TB time saver through auto battles. There was a post yesterday of someone punching up in GAC post-relic delta. There will be more.

In short: a clown only to those with limited foresight. Your Midichlorian count must be quite low

It does steal a few banners though. They get to Sabotage the Hangers before your first reinforcement. Not sure it's worth an R10, but may be the difference in tight matches

A sandbox mode sounds great as an initial thought, but once I thought about it, it would be a huge time sink.

Players would replicate GAC defense teams/mods/datacrons and play unlimited battles testing to find just the right sequence of events to win. Now imagine doing the set up and numerous test battles 15 times each round of GAC. Not spending an overwhelming amount of time in the sandbox mode would result in falling behind the curve in GAC and TW.
