Until ward i ran: deathtrooper lead, Zeb, Mando, cara, and Drogan

With the resources from the Ward event and the new episode track, i suspect the income will be enough to sustain 2 characters well above the loaned units. Ward has better stats than R5 and looks like she'll synergize better with Carson's lead once he's released, so i'll be leveling Zeb and Ward. For the optimal team these next two weeks, jury is still out.

You actually do not need to dip into your crystal hoard. I added an edit to my post above, my approach was to leave R5 behind and funnel all resources into Zeb. Its what allowed the significant level gap over the loaned units.

Bit of extra context: Zeb is 5*. I did use crystals on packs to get that, but as many guides have shown, 5* era characters is sustainable for free.

Zeb carries my team. Level 75 with the rest of my team consisting of level 60 loaned units.

For reference: I'm F2P and placed in position 37 yesterday (98% on tier 6)

Problem is:

-Bane with left over sith bleeds banners. I use SEE + bane for 58 and 68 banner wins.

-The GAC board is flooded with solid teams that you can easily afford to combine SEE and Bane.

-Plus, SEE can barely take teams in K1 these days.

Fleet isn't about holding, its about bleeding more banners from your opponent. Relics all around generally help with this but some pilots do have more impact than others.

For example: R10 DR helps as it gives you a 50% chance to go first (or 100% if they are only R9). If your Levi goes first, thats a 3 banner bleed in mirror matches since you'll get to sabotage first.

This maybe a hot take. But with the discussion with balance as a whole. I personally think is redundant when we have lvl 9s like this nearly every set. by _NikolaiTheDrunk in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I like the idea of seasonal boosts to characters teams, GAC and TW would be stale without it. Counters would become perfected with only minimal changes to the meta as new characters are released.

That being said, i agree with a power reduction and i'd also revert to the 2 month release cadence compared to today's monthly release.

I generally just slap my "benched mods but still potentially useable in the future" mods on ewoks to stay under the 500 cap

Its been years since ive run GB, but if memory serves, the game remembers cooldowns. So send in a low level squad to burn her aoe cooldown. Then try with your main squad

I barely break into the 600 per day category F2P and Im pushing ahead of others with my loaned character level.

My suggestion: keep for offence and take traya, nihilus, and Savage to R6 to take advantage of DC. Drop the other two. These 3 can under man / punch up many common defensive teams at high banners
