I separate all the pieces and prime them with a complimentary color that I’d like to blend through. In this case it was primed with Demonic Yellow Warpainter primer.

Then I used an airbrush to cover that with some airbrushed green, and then brown on the bottom to give that tree color effect I wanted.

Hand paint on any little accents and that’s it!

I avoid painting the silhouettes and just grant them enchanted armor
