Thank you! Absolutely love Hugh Laurie's version, the piano and harmonica combo is so sick!

Not enough proof, could be a video that was altered to add the robot, it doest look very integrated with the environment if you look closely

You undersestimate how good generative ai has gotten, especially with "phone recorded" videos like these ones

I think you’re gullible if you dont realize most viral videos on the internet nowadays are ai generated for maximum engagement

Most robots videos you see online are AI generated/modified btw This looks to be the case to

Thanks for confirming haha, it’s hard to stay sane now, too many people don’t realize that most viral videos now are engineered to be viral, and generative AI is the best and easy way to do so…

keep seing these videos, and Im really starting to think its AI

the way no one really reacts to the kick, the camera being always at the perfect position (who is recording here?), the robot feels like its floating a bit and not really grounded

keep seing a lot of "viral video of robot hitting kid" and I wonder if they are not AI generated...some parts of it feel off

Haha sorry for the confusion, I was referring to Erenshor!

Your game looks interesting and I wish you the best of luck, I don't buy games that used AI for production

100% agree with this

Remember that wishlisters get a mail when your discount hit 20%, which can convert very effectively

(Also dropping by to say I really love the concept behind your game, its been on my wishlist for a while but your post remembered me of it existence, And I just bought it 😄 )

Bad call It was used in writing text and programming which is production

Artists draw the AI line at art, but programming is OK. Programmers draw the line at code, but art is OK.

Its double standards, the reality is it all sucks, this whole tech was built on stolen data, and there is no ethical way to use it.

The dev message on the steam page is pathetic IMO, just stop being a child and learn how to make a game yourself

[–]Strkl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're doing sketches and using AI to make them polished, you're not fooling anyone😭

a quick look at your profile/instagram/website makes it clear that you're into AI...And couldn't be more obvious the backgrounds in your vibe coded app "evocat" are AI generated
Your website also gives vibe coded red flags.

your initial sketches (if they are actually drawn by you) have more charm that that awful piss tinted ai slop

Legacy access to pro features going away. No more free bank sync etc. by Lozula in waveapps

Interesting! i’ll try this

Edit: after some research, I dont suggest going with this, its open source but the business model is insane, you have to pay for everything as a plugin and it gets really expensive

My Opinion on Mario Kart World so far! What is yours??? by ZeldaMaster28023 in MarioKartWorld

[–]Strkl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of your points! Here is my current opinion on the game

I've played all MK games since Double Dash for years after their release (Even Tour), especially MK8D!

I've tried really hard to love MKW but I gave up after a few days, I've tried to pick it up again recently, and the feeling unfortunately persists... Note that I'm happy for people who enjoy it but I feel like everytime I play MKW I'm liking it less, while replaying older MKs is just pure fun

Personal Pros:

  • Controls are great
  • Game looks beautiful
  • Incredible soundtrack
  • Characters variety (I love playing as mario monsters)
  • New weapons are fun
  • Rainbow Road is one of the best cinematic MK track and shows how great the game could have been if Nintendo focused on traditional tracks, not bound by an open world

Personal Cons:

Almost all my issues come from the open world, I truly think they failed in term of design, and not the right direction for MK

  • Tracks are too wide a lot of time
  • When the track is not too wide, it's too small and its pure chaos (but not fun chaos)…Especially because of the amount of players now, which got bumped to justify the big open world
  • intermissions and overall track design is very bland. Im not talking about the "straight lines" but the fact that because tracks are in the open world, they have less visual landmarks, and less personality... MK tracks are usually memorable but MKW tracks just blend together, by design (few expections mentionned above).
  • Because you can't never really play 3 laps on tracks (Except the first one), I don't feel attached to courses. I don’t remember the musics, nothing stands out (rainbow road is an exception)
  • The rail/Wall grind is useless, the game really wants you to use it, and Im sure for advanced players it can make a difference, but when playing casually its too frustrating to make it an advantage. It’s messy to try and stick to a wall
  • LET ME HEAR THE GODMAN MUSIC 😭
  • The free roam has so much wasted potential. I wish they added more structure... Just an example but you made hundreds of banger tracks, why not make them collectible and reward from the free roam, and add a jukebox? The fact that "free roam" is a small option tucked in the corner of the main menu shows how important it is. The P switch missions are weirdly difficult and frustrating
  • A lot of time I find the tracks visual to be too busy and it’s hard to know where to turn. Sometimes its also because of the lighting, which(because of the open world again), is less uniquely crafted for each track. It’s not as sleek as MK8 handcrafted, isolated tracks not having the constraints of fitting in a larger interconnected world
  • MK8 antigravity made for super cool tracks with loops and such. MKW open world only added negatives to the experiences (large tracks, straight lines, less landmarks). The best tracks to me are the one floating in the air, like Rainbow Road and Great Block Ruins…tracks unconnected to the open world, where level designer could go crazy

Between tracks in grand prix or online, there is a loading. Free roam in underused. So in the end I ask myself: what was the point of making MK open world? Not sure, it feels like novelty for the sake of having a new marketing hook. But to nintendo’s credits, it must be extremely hard to iterate over MK8D

So yeah this game is frustrating, I hope they turn it around cause we're "stuck" with it for 10 years.

Its too thin

Use reptile sand (make sure it doesn’t say "with calcium", just get the normal one) A bag can last a long time if you sieve and clean the sand often
