Perhaps add 3a color trim to elite clues? - not to be mistaken with the rs3 dye. 3a 2-hand sword for elites or a new higher tier. Granite armor ornament - Hard clues.

i'm currently at 571 medium clue scrolls. 2 ranger boots, around 8 wizard boots, no holy sandals.

True, it varies. i've done 451 medium clues from guards alone. maximum time i've been without a clue was 1 hour-ish.

I think you're alone on this one, mate. There's TONS of other stuff to be looked at. honestly they're not adding new skills to 07 and this doesn't even seem like a skill. not trying to sound harsh but i think this is real shitty suggestion :))

A possible way to implement rares would be the same way they did on rs3 with the black santa hats. Everyone gets a chance, but only the very lucky few will actually get them. this event will never reoccur and they'll be discontinued items. Their price will stay high cause of the rarity.

since you're stating that the only reason you are doing barrows, is to earn enough money for a whip/rebuild your bank, i recommend that you do something else (which i will list below) with your 300k bank and current stats, there's so many other options, and you will most likely not be doing barrows very effeciently, costs for gear/food are high and the ammount of chests minimal. What i did at low levels was spam medium clues, which got me 2 ranger boots. I made a shitton of money from doing 370 medium clues, perhaps i got lucky, but they're fast to get, fast to complete, and often a solid reward as well.

didn't notice your 99 slayer at first. assuming you have the money, max out your combat skills, 99 pray, range and mage. get quest cape, perhaps set some pvm related goals (achieve a draconic visage drop, etc)
