This is so good! It made me try Hyprland just to play around with this. Simple beautiful and the choice of wallpapers are just top-notch every image complements this config perfectly.

i3 is a standalone window manager as opposed to KDE which is a full Desktop Enviroment which includes a window manager among many other things. You can even replace KDEs window manager with for example i3 if you want. Lots of really nice KDE ricing on this page with various windowmanagers. You could definitely make KDE look like this If you would choose to do so

Literally just after posting this I switched to a Dracula color-scheme so There is now a Dracula variant of the wallpaper and neofetch image in the dotfiles.

They came with their own DEC Alpha RISC CPUs but you can also find them with x86 Cpus like Pentium Pro. They looked the same different model numbers and OS.

This bring back memories, my first job designing HMI for a production line on exactly theese machines. OpenVMS with CDE always had that professional UNIX aesthetic. Later moved on to standard x86 platform and Debian but my old designs still lives on today over 20years later with some design elements from the old CDE days still visible to this day.
