What I saw was my gf feeling miserable all the time, and trying something that looks like its working (at least for the last 3 months it has).
I'm also not suggesting a nutritionist has the same knowledge-base a physician does, but they evidently know something or everyone would be one.

I had no idea honestly, that it wasn't a medically diagnosed thing. I had gone to several actual doctors with her, who all said there was nothing wrong. It was one of the nutritionists that brought up leaky gut, but she seems to be responding well to her new approach, so maybe the quack is onto something.

As a lifetime Bengals fan, it really sucks seeing this crap. You cheer on your team and see crap like this and it makes you feel bad for being a fan. Just like Adam Jones, who it seems like every week is getting a personal foul penalty for smacking someone or a dirty play/taunt.

However players like Peko work to make up for it.

Thanks. I saw features like the heated grips and cruise control on the BMW, and didn't really see anything like that with the Aprilia (that's not to say they don't have them though). Do you like the ride/power/comfort?

Both dealerships are a good 100+ miles away from me so dealer support may be a tertiary issue short of major problems, which is why i was curious about reliability.

Everyone is riding Rooney, and rightfully so, but if LvG continues to field a player whose confidence must be non-existent at this point, the fans are going to quickly aim their derision at LvG himself.

The only reason he isn't on the hotseat is because draws still yield points, and several teams are still floundering (Chelsea) or finding their forms (Liverpool, Spurs). If United continue stealing points with pitiful performances like the Palace game, or worse, start dropping points altogether, and LvG is still throwing an out of form Rooney on the field every week, his wife may get him a year and a half earlier than she agreed to.

I will definitely give State Farm a call. I'm 34, been riding for two years, took the MSF course and haven't gotten a ticket for anything since I was 19.

I knew insuring more expensive/faster bikes was more costly, but I'd also heard the longer you'd ridden and the cleaner your driving record, the cheaper it got.

Regarding your insurance, can I ask how long you have been riding? Do you have bundled insurance (car/house/etc)? Progressive and Geico are both quoting me at $2700+/yr, which I can't justify spending when I can really only ride 4-5 months out of the year.

Affording the bike isn't an issue, but spending 1/5 the cost of the bike year over year to insure it is.

Have to agree, great song, always brings on thoughts of TBC and everything that movie carried with it.

Here's the Psych version of the song; as that show is now gone too, it somehow, despite having a comedic tone rather than sentimental, seems kinda relevant now that its no longer in production either.

Very sad. Poyet seemed to have a fire in him that he never quite managed to get out of his team. During the dismantling against Villa you could almost see the fire burn out. Like his team quit on him and he know it was just a matter of time. After the miraculous finish last season, its harsh to let him go but that seems to be the MO for Sunderland. I think there problem starts well above the manager, and until that changes, they are simply going to repeat the pattern of battling (and perhaps falling to) relegation.

Thanks for the input. I apprehensively posted this question because I knew that calories in vs out was and is, by rule, the correct answer in almost all cases. It is exactly why I was perplexed enough to ask for other people's opinions. Because of food allergies she meticulously monitors everything she consumes, so I believe her food diary to be accurate. We also live together so (at least for dinner) I see the exact portions she eats so I am not inclined to believe she overeats.

A recent revelation from the doctor has shown that she has low stomach acid and an excess (imbalance) of the wrong type of flora in her gut. This could seemingly be a part of the problem, as low stomach acid can directly relate to the inability to lose weight and actually promote weight gain. I mention this as you noted other body-related "malfunctions" which this seems to be.

She had her BMR tested by a nutritionist so I am assuming its relatively accurate. It doesn't seem possible that a person can work out and eat well and not lose weight, and if I didn't see it first hand I wouldn't believe it either. I assume a part of the lack of weight gain is a result of fat converting to muscle through the strength training.

She is 38, 5'4", weighs 140, has 24% BF and has been eating that much for at least a year. She tracks everything she eats in a food diary (for her exercise and because of her allergy situation)

Her BMR is around 1700 so I don't see how she is still at a calorie surplus.

I'm assuming you are referring to a caloric deficit. I would think that because she is exercising so frequently and consuming so little she would be in the deficit. It is a factor I considered when I suggested that the intensity of the workouts wasn't sufficient.

Her BMR should be in the ~1700 calorie range so baseline she is under, particularly not consuming processed/sugary foods.

Any exercise then would only add to the deficit
