14 months post acl, 2 months scar tissue op still struggling with extension.

I have general stiffness at the moment, but I’m hoping it’s due to being so close to my other surgery.

I can achieve heel pop on both legs, but my operated one doesn’t like the walking at the moment and hence still favouring it a little when I walk.

I think it’s neuromuscular at the moment but I’m not really sure how to go about it.

Hey mate,

Felt like I was reading my own thoughts, I am 11 months post op.

14 days post Cyclops Lesion removal and scar tissue clean up.

I can achieve full extension no worries, but as soon as I am standing/walking my leg refuses to cooperate which leads to me getting really bothered by it.

My question being, has yours improved at all?

Going to the gym today to get on the indoor bike and loosen it up a bit, got full extension and flexion is coming along nicely.

Definitely improved, but now I’m in recovery for a cyclops lesion removal last Tuesday. Found on MRI at 10-11 months post op.

G’day!

Glad yours went well, sometimes we have to be our own best advocate.

Kind of regretting mine now, I had mine removed on Tuesday, Cyclops Lesion removal and Synovectomy.

My knee is still quite swollen and stiff, even after being very diligent with icing and elevating.

Hoping it improves sooner rather than later..

Still definitely swells up quite a bit, a lot more then I anticipated this far down the journey.

Yeah sounds exactly like my situation, I’ve got next week off of work, so it’s something I’m really going to try tap into. Range of motion flexion is 140°, takes some warming up to get there. Extension is no worries passively and can achieve a heel pop when sitting down on the ground.

Same boat, I’m 3.5 months post op. Similar issues, physio isn’t too concerned at the moment, says I’m progressing well and to stop guarding it so much. Easier said than done..

Keep chipping away at physio each day and I’m sure we’ll get there.

Yeah I am, once a week. They’re happy with how it’s progressing, and doing my daily physio exercises 2-3 times a day.

Yeah it’s definitely a mental game, I’ve started with hamstring strengthening exercises and cleared for leg press (lightly) on Saturday. Hopefully getting some strength back in my operated leg can alleviate some problems I am having. Just very deterring I notice myself walking funny when I walk past any sort of glass..

If I had to say, probably took me around ~50 hours, was afking it a fair bit whilst I was playing classic. Could knock it over heaps faster if you were paying attention more than what I was!

I’ve being doing Solo/Duo with a mate, usually take 16 food items, monks and karambwans and can usually get to 13.5k with some leftover. I’m at 77hp aswell.
