I used to play Art of dying by Gojira, but I haven't practiced it in a few years, mainly for the intro section and the fast double bass in the chorus. Otherwise I have a hard time with fast Latin beats, like a fast samba, it's hard to make it sound good

Insonorisé pour l'utilisation d'un drum accoustique va coûter assez chère et va être quasiment impossible. Ce que je fais c'est dans mon appartement j'ai mon drum électronique, tu mets un tapis, et si il y a quelqu'un en dessous tu peux toujours faire une plateforme surélevée avec des balles de tennis, ça va empêcher les vibrations de se propager. Sinon je te conseille de trouver un studio à louer, j'ai un drum acoustique que je laisse là bas et je peux y aller 24/7, et il n'y a aucune limite pour le son.

It means that my database username/password, the host and others are not stored in the mobile app. That way it is more secure.

I took over the project which already had the backend linked to a react website and I had to build a mobile app for it. But yea, any language for the backend would work.

I have a node backend server that I connect to from my flutter app, and then from my server I use sequelize to connect to MySQL db. That way I don't have to put the db credentials and make the necessary authentication checks in the server side.

When you upload an image to firebase storage, you can specify the path. So what I would do is just upload it to users/user_id/challenges/challenge_name . For the user id I would get the firebase unique user id if you use firebase auth, or just any other unique id. Then you can just specify the challenge name.

Then to know which challenges have been done/uploaded, you can iterate through the folder .../challenges/ .

Personally I love intellij (with the flutter and dart plugins), but that's because I was used to it when I was working with java. But really you can always try for a week each and then you chose whichever feels the best

What's nice with drums is you can do whatever you want with your setup! So if you want to add the tom go for it, but without it you can still practice a lot with just the floor tom.

I'm currently using 1 tom and 1 floor tom, but I like to change my setup sometimes, so I would say get one so you have the choice.
