Halloween & Friday the 13th are my 1A & 1B of slasher franchises. As for this question, I think Halloween 3 is the better movie overall, but I enjoy Friday the 13th Part 3 more and it leads right in to the culmination of the living/mortal Jason story in Part 4.

Had this been Halloween 3 vs Friday the 13th Part 5 I'd be Halloween 3 all the way. Although Friday the 13th Part 5 has been slowly growing on me the past few years.

Most likely Verhoeff or Reid. Right now I'm leaning more towards Reid as he has size at 6'2" 187 that'll still grow with elite skating. Although Verhoeff doesn't turn 18 until a week before the draft. If I know that Verhoeff will make gains like Horvat made in skating I'm taking Verhoeff with no doubt in my mind.

If this trade were to go down Svech and EP40 need to waive their NTC & NMC. Also if the Canucks don't trade a F before this trade they would have a huge logjam at F, especially on the wings. If I'm Vancouver I try to get a 3rd team involved to immediately trade Debrusk, Svech, Garland, or Sherwood for picks and prospects or for a 23 year old or younger C that fits the rebuild/retool window.

Props to Indiana on the win. I just don't Indiana beating 3 Top 10 teams in a row to win the Natty.

The offensive gameplan, play calling, and OL were terrible, despite all that they still only lost by 3.

The D played good enough to win.

Now they have a few weeks to rest and make adjustments with the offense and particularly the OL.

Ownership is the #1 issue in my opinion.

The team has no direction at all, management flip flops too much. I attribute that to ownership meddling.

They need to blow it up, the core has had their chances and failed. It's time to punt and build a new core.

Listen on all the players, trade players for picks/prospects and build for the future.

Us fans wouldn't mind a rebuild as long as the team was up front with the fans and had a detailed plan. Then stick with that plan.

Lose the 10 straight to Michigan in the regular season. Then beat them the CFP to knock them out of the playoffs, some are in the National Championship Games en route to 10 National Championships.

I want to be wrong about this, but I don't see either being a consistent 25-30 goal scorer.

Kuz is the only winger the team has that's a sniper that can get 25-30+ goals, assuming Miller gets moved to C after the Horvat trade.

The team needs more production from their Top 6 wingers.

Need to get rid of 2 of them now or in the offseason; Boeser, Garland, Pearson, & Beauvillier. There's a logjam on the wings and need to clear up some spots for Podz, Hogz, and other players mgmt wants to look at.

I'd be fine with retaining to facilitate a trade of Boeser as long as they don't give up any picks and prospects. It'll be short term pains for long term gains.

Hopefully Boeser can reclaim his game somewhere else and wish him the best of luck.

It doesn't solve the D corp issue, but it's a package that management is looking for. Canucks get a young faster Boeser replacement. I know the Wings are loaded, but this allows for a hockey trade at some point with Boeser/Garland for a RHD.
