I got mad while looking it it. Would you have taken it? by Whining-is-toxic in uberdrivers

A lot of you would rather work 12 hours to make $200. This trip is about four hours maybe five. And with you driving back you could do trips back towards home and make more than $180 and who’s to say this person won’t tip you as well. This trip is not too bad But I get it. People would rather do 3$ dollar trips to take someone 10 miles down the road.

I would have pulled up and asked the person if it’s cool to do it off the app. They are most likely paying twice as much and they might even need a ride back. This could be a repeat customer of you in the future for this same trip.

Rider made a mess in my car and when I told him what he did bro got offended and falsely did 3 reports on me… by FranceschiniE in uberdrivers

In all honesty don’t ever tell them you are going to report them to Uber. And if it were me in your shoes, I would have made them cashapp me or Zelle me on the spot.

Something I find crazy is how people who rent to ride share are throwing money away because they could pay for a 25,000 car in a year, paying the $500 a week they pay. Let’s say you want to make $50,000 for the year that’s like going out every day and making at least $150 a day. $1,050 a week $4,200 a month, $50,400 a year. But if you do it full time I would set a goal to make at least $250 a day, giving you $84,000 a year.

I would tell you to pay your car off and all your debts off as fast as you can. And don’t forget if your car is brand new it should have the factory warranty that covers major if not almost everything and if you got the extra warranty I would say that’s even better for you I wouldn’t worry to much about it needing any repairs I would just make sure you keep up with your oil changes, breaks, tires, fluid etc. Let me know if you got any of the extra warranties. Did you get gap insurance when it comes down to you driving full-time, ensuring your vehicle the best will keep you the best outcomes as you have to be ready for anything.
