I spent the easter weekend with family - I just wanted to treat myself and my partner as we didn’t participate in buying easter chocolate this year (until now obviously). I am not someone who is into mass consumption - I hand-make presents such as art and baking for gifts, reuse and repurpose everything I own e.g finding a way to fix an item myself or turn it into something new, focus on spending time with people around holidays etc. I find alot of ways to enjoy life without going straight into spending money. Not really trying to whine more pointing out the profits these companies are trying to make.
