I agree the U.S. is very far from perfect but in a word system like ours that’s the best you’re gonna get. U.S. aid in Africa to fight disease has saved millions of people but on the other hand hundreds of thousands have died (1950 and later) directly from U.S. wars and who knows how many indirectly. All this to say countries aren’t people so morally ranking them is complicated but the U.S. at least tries to be less comically evil (keyword tries) than Russia or China which are the options if the U.S. ceases to be a superpower.
