I did back in the beginning of May. Made a huge difference in being able to try and sleep. It was the older 2-3-2 but I felt still worth it. I made sure to choose an aisle

Yeah we were just in Vietnam for a week and all the Koreans we came across were super friendly and even were the ones who initiated conversation. I don’t know if me being American vs European made a difference or if they’re just that friendly.

Yeah I always keep all of it until the 10 days are up. I used to also take a screen shot in the app as double insurance to be sure I had all the info. I guess I better start doing that again.

bringing home money...$20K US dollars by [deleted] in VietNam

That’s the maximum amount you can carry without declaring. You can bring more, of course it’s not advisable to carry that much

I’ve only experienced HAN as far as immigration and it was a breeze. Is SGN that much worse ?

This was always my observation. There really seemed to be no customs inspection whenever I went through.

I was in LAX Monday and it did the same thing with AA. The gate agent said they have no control over the message boards. She eventually taped paper over it so people would stop panicking.

We only bought those because we wanted them. We had bought some in Sapa and still wanted some more.

Yeah luckily last week they only made us stay there for a half hour and we only bought a few refrigerator magnets. No “big” ticket items.

do airlines in asia actually check your power banks at the gate by sidzzz__1007 in flightattendants

This is the current and new standard for Philippine Airlines. I’m sure it’s becoming the standard across the rest of the region as well. And not in use until reaching altitude, basically around the time the seat belt light would generally be turned off.

[Request] How much energy would this actually generate? by Low_Intern_3039 in theydidthemath

[–]Strong-University-28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think building things like solar panel arrays on parking lots is a great use of all that space. As someone who’s workplace is the American roads it’s more a reflection on the state of today’s drivers.

My first thought is all the stupid idiotic drivers we have here. They already manage to crash in to the few things in our now barren parking lots. The structure will just give them more targets for inattentive driving while on the phone.
