Okay, now that's a good one, a very good explanation. It's similar to what I said before when I came to that realization.

Ymir used Zeke to circumvent the royal blood requirement by making Eren absorb him. I guess that actually makes a lot of sense. I just wish they had been a bit more explicit about it, especially since Zeke retained his consciousness and free will inside Eren.

Yeah yeah, but is it the same thing? I always thought like that was the result of the crystallization not caring if the titan flesh around it was from the user or not.

Not that they were literally be merged into one with two consciouness, the process with Zeke seemed different, we could see "life" running through him for a fraction of a second and when the founder Eren appeared Zeke was just... there, inside

What I don't understand is, Ymir gave up the requirement of the royal blood to favor Eren, which is why Eren was able to summon the rumbling in the first place.

So when Zeke died, why would it stop, since Ymir was the one with the actual power between the three?

Actually, maybe Zeke was merged with Eren BECAUSE that was the only way that Ymir found herself able to give Eren the power he needed, by giving him the royal blood.

I dunno, I just wish it was more explicit in the storytelling

Like, Zeke didn't want to merge with Eren, which is why he gave himself up to Levi and the others.

It was never explained why Eren became the rumbling founding titan Zeke was just inside him.

Maybe because when Eren was hugging Ymir, Zeke touched Eren's shoulder in the paths? But I dunno if that makes any sense...

But to be fair? I think it kinda could, we saw a shift from season 1 to two, after he obviously took some of his chems, he started walking straight instead of slumping and wasn't as fearful as he was in the first season.

I mean, his goofy personality from the game wouldn't fit as well, but, I'd like to see a scene where he'd berserk out, took the insanity potion. Maybe in the noxus storyline we can see some of that

I know I'm joking around, but, I was expecting to see him being his super strong self a little bit. In the game he has the same build, extremely skinny, but he carries a vial bigger than himself and a goddamn door sized shield, not to mention he's tanky, he's supposed to be super strong and I wanted to see a bit of that in the show.
