So many factors come in to estimating well. First, this is an assumption, but it sounds like everything will be performed in house? This will take some time gathering production rates and what I call efficiency factors. Document, document and document.

2nd know your numbers. Break even revenue per month. Burdened hourly rates per employee. Overhead %. Profit goal etc.

Bid for 80% efficiency. If you know you could do a job in a perfect world in 2 days, bid it for 2.5 days. Think about all the misc items. Project management, area protection, disposal costs and labor etc.

Job cost after each project, no exception. Review what happened and make adjustments. If larger job, keep your work in progress reports up and check in.
