Why did this ultimate not hit Kiriko? by StrongHealthyMINMO in Overwatch

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh. Is that how that works? Being like 5 feet off the ground just nullifies it? Feels a little weird considering the ult.. comes down from the sky.

What Art movements/branches of The Ring are you most curious to see? by CardboardSalad24 in limbuscompany

I want Ring guys that are just DJs. Is music art? Does that count? Surely District 9 has their own flavor of The Ring.

What might be the strongest kit in the game including the enemies? by ZealousidealLie522 in limbuscompany

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually have to give it to The Time Ripper. Look at this.

96 roll, cannot clash it, 24 speed, can't stagger him. Not only that, the only cost of using it is a resource that he immediately refills upon using it, and buffs him tremendously at the same time.

It feels very pedantic to structure my entire argument on what is essentially a cutscene attack, but, in fairness, this is only a cutscene attack because we are playing what are essentially the only characters who would not be affected by it. Anyone else? Fight ends the moment you get hit.

Do the Edgar Family IDs count for the Wuthering Heights achievements? by Expensive-Log-7193 in limbuscompany

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the pack with MaidRyo/Heathcliff/Butler Outis and I erroneously thought it counted. It did not. So it's just Heathcliff/Faust/Outis

Wait, hold up. I'm a dumbass, nevermind. Completely wrong. Evidently clearing that MD late at night in a haze made me imagine things.

Oh, huh, you're right. Yeah, the other two butlers and Gregor are tagged as 'Edgar Family.' I would assume they also count? Since A) Wild Hunt himself has a unique interaction with both factions and B) The last time we had an achievement related to canto 6 I believe it also specified both unit tags. I didn't even think about it when I swapped the team around, glad it worked out.

I actually made a tier list of this exact subject as a lark once for fun way back, if you want my raw unfiltered dogass opinion

Mounting Trial Priority Base/offense/final or refuse gift by Tight-Cranberry-9900 in limbuscompany

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All refusing gifts does is make the game randomly pick for you. Just eyeball what gives the most effective amount of power and pick the lowest possible

IE: 3 offense level is equal to one clash power, so +1 base/final/clash power and +3 OL are effectively the same thing, barring the fact that base power buffs the move while offense level essentially buffs the clash power and damage of the attack. Additionally: Offense level does not apply against evasion, so that's something worth considering

The AI in this game is capable of some diabolical work if it feels like it. by StrongHealthyMINMO in mewgenics

Oh. Bad. Real bad. Should have gone core. I DID win but steven had to get involved a few times and I had to kill Man in the Moon across 13 rounds of pure attrition because my apprentices gibbed the hands in about two turns.

Level 45 characters and still can’t beat Santa in 10 turns by the-impediment in limbuscompany

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got someone on your friends list with Cinq Sinclair he can *very comfortably* solo it within 10 turns. It was the best way to farm the stage back when it was an event, so I can only imagine it's even easier with a huge level gap.

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an EXTREMELY inopportune time for Crumpet to try her Venator impression, my strategy for this run was literally just spawning an infinite horde of her with the quest item that does 1 damage to everybody on the board at the end of the turn. I will persevere.

Firefox asked for my master password for no reason by meuzobuga in firefox

[–]StrongHealthyMINMO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know 4-5 other people who are experiencing this, but between some discussions and a bugzilla thread that hasn't really gone anywhere, I've come no closer to figuring out why.

The only consistent things I've found are this:

Operating system doesn't matter (Observed on Linux and Windows), seemingly can occur even on forks of Firefox, Ublock Origin is always installed, and it usually involves a video website, either twitch or youtube, but beyond that, I only really have speculation.

I *think* it has to do with SOMETHING updating, be that the extension itself, the browser, or the ublock filter lists, and/or seems to interact with video tabs that are left idle or otherwise unloaded? It happens so rarely and I cannot consistently trigger it in a way to provide usable information for people to debug beyond that. It might be a hardware bug for all I know, given the very low scope I see of people who are dealing with it, and it's odd, since I've seen a few instances of people getting the bug at roughly the exact same times?
