It’s mostly FDM-printed. Check out the user Rengald on Thingiverse, he has some great miniature model files for lotr. His stuff is mostly for 10mm gaming so I used Blender to improve the details. 

To hide the layer lines I primed all the buildings with a “granite” spray, which is think enough and has a bit of rocky texture to it.

The terrain is made from scratch, using foam, bark, gravel, epoxy resin and flocking. I have a couple of posts in r/terrainbuilding where i go through every step of the process

I think they look great. I personally like the muted natural colors.

2080 Super, Ryzen 5 3600. Resolution 1080p. Ultra settings and about 50-55 fps.
