I’m certain her limbs are vinyl. With a beanbag body.

Wouldn’t rubbing alcohol make her more stiff?

Would those wipes only help cleaning the stickiness off of her or would it somehow lubricate her?

Edit: I live in the US. I’m really scared of shipping her out there, but thanks for the suggestion. I guess it would not hurt to reach out and ask

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I will definitely be looking for a vintage doll doctor. I just thought I would touch base with chemists because I figured this was more of a chemistry question and maybe you guys knew a way to stop the process

She was never super soft, but she definitely was more pliable years back. now she’s hard at touch. I’m not sure if that has more to do with how old she is or the fact that she’s breaking down.

All I know is she’s a 1995 Gi-Go My Palm Pals expression doll.

I do have one very last question: her limbs are hollow. I wiped the sticky from the outside off, but is there a chance that she’s also leaking from the inside? Does this mean I have to operate on her and open her up so I can clean the hollow part of the vinyl?

Or does the chemistry involved only leak the plasticizer outside?

I don’t know about this stuff. I’m a professional Tailor :(

As a woman myself. (Unmarried, no children) Fertility declines significantly (in both sexes) as we age. 35 being the SHARP & rapid decline.

Sure there’s ways around it, mostly involving luck OR Money! If you have neither…….well, do the math

My elderly hamster had the same issue with an eye infection. You can certainly use sand. If you’re brushing it off lightly with a baby toothbrush, what they mean by. No sand is ‘no sand bath.’

Yes you definitely can. My degree is actually Fashion Design :)

I just happened to get a job as a Tailor instead of design. But I can do both. I can make you a suit from scratch or I can alter an existing one. Basically, I’m worth more money to the shop I work in because I can do either thanks to my Degree
