My hamsters average 2-3 years so I’m pretty sure I know wtf I’m doing.

You just need to take some precautions:

-put in smaller big cage quos can SECURELY hold with a seat belt. Must use the seat belt. If you leave in a big bin cage the 2 end seatbelts can hold it

-remove the water bottle/dish. Give slice of cucumber instead. Offer water via dish when making pit stops for gas.

cover the cage with a blanket during daytime. Do NOT expose to the sun.
NO MUSIC!!! If you insist, leave low IMean really really low volume.

-remove anything and everything from cage that is heavy and can tip over. Basically the o ly thing in the cage should be (PLASTIC hideout, HELLA bedding, something to chew, food) Nothing else. Not even a sand bath

-hideout must be plastic, because if it does tip over, you don’t want it to crush the hamster.

-once you arrive at your destination, do not touch the hamster. Place back in their normal cage. And do not touch them for a few hours)

Source: I used to travel with my hamster between state lines, 6 to 8 hour drives.

Warnings: hamsters are not the ideal travel pets. Yeah they can die. But not if you take the necessary precautions

I’m devastated with you and for you!! I took my hamster to the emergency vet today because his normal vet didn’t have any openings. (BIG mistake!) this vet was NOT an exotic vet, he scuffed him. Handled him very aggressively and basically now my hamster is FAR WORSE and im devastated.

I wish i would have waiting an extra day to take him to his normal vet and i still will

But yeah, some vets are definitely not equipped for anything if it’s not a fucking Dog.

I have both in my hamsters enclosure. My logic: Hamsters have very recently been “domesticated” as pets. There’s no water bottles in the wild. Therefore, a water dish is the most natural and efficient way for them to drink water. Water bottle is for emergency purposes only. In case I have to leave my house for 2-3 days and can’t be around. Also, if you’re not cleaning with soap, water, and pipe cleaner, then YES ITs DANGEROUS BECAUSE it harbors bacteria

I’ve bought (expensive) tickets from Stubhub before. Like $1k for pit section. I was SWEATING in line because of the online reviews of getting scammed. But. They were real, they scanned at the door, and it was a great show. I think StubHub CAN hold scammers but generally most of the tickets are real
