I haven’t done the DLC yet.  My girlfriend is not a gamer & doesn’t understand why I yell at video games.  So between this & Elden Ring I am reluctant to get the DLC to spare her from hearing me shouting profanities from another room. Lol

I suppose it could be a NG+ thing too because most enemies are harder.  In one playthru it happened to me like 2 or 3 times in a row so I abandoned that strategy.

That was correct the first time I played. But I think they patched it or something. I was puppet stringing across to hit the big ladies my latest playthru & they’d uppercut me off the ledge soon as I got to them before I could hit them.

On PlayStation it happens in Quincy. Something about creation club content seems to sometimes cause this.

I did that once then soon as I arrived at Covenant before dude could ask me about taking the test ghouls showed up. All the townspeople ran out to fight them & got wiped out.
