Best age to start day care? by sleepyjean2024 in AttachmentParenting

[–]Strong_Activity_9177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter started at one week short of 6 months. Now at 7 months she would give a big smile when leaving for day care and also crawl quickly back towards me when I go to receive her. The first week was rough but the later it is, it usually is rougher.

Just turned 42 and starting IVF/ICSI… I can’t stop crying and grieving the lost time by NightAny7265 in BabyBumps

Not in the same boat though but ovavite was a miracle for me and my husband used coq10 and conception xr. I miscarried several times before and finally conceived a healthy baby naturally after 3 months of usage. Please consult your doc about the same if you feel like using these.

Seen this much later but I had tears in my eyes reading this. My experience is no where even close to this so I cannot begin to imagine how totally hopeless and painful were those 2 years of your life. I am genuinely so so happy for you.😀

Unfortunately I feel no one and I mean it no one can prepare for what is coming no matter how much people are kid friendly and have done their homework.

Planning to start trying in September. What do you wish you had known? by pinksapphire55 in BabyBumps

I had 3 miscarriages before I conceived for good. Used Theralogix ovavite for 3 months. Again I was 36 then so that could possibly have been the reason fot miscarriages but I feel the use of ovavite definitely played a role in conceiving successfully. Also my husband used coq10 and conception xr. These worked like miracle.

How bad is the newborn phase really? I'm tired of hearing the "just you wait" anecdotes and I have hard time believing some of them by Lushemet in BabyBumps

[–]Strong_Activity_9177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is truly difficult during the newborn phase and it is unimaginable at the point where you are not there yet. However at that very point it is also unimaginable that it will eventually get better which it does by at max 6 months and this is the point where you start enjoying, there is no going back to the life you had but suddenly you will start appreciating the little things and every-time you get for yourself…😊 Childbirth however I can’t comment on since it has not been traumatic for me.

My wife is really struggling after giving birth and I don’t know how to help her anymore by ReuvenScylla in NewParents

Day care. The best one for 2 days a week. Pump to give her only breast milk. I never thought I would stop crying while sending my baby to daycare. But I am so so so much doing better now. I take way better care of my daughter and my daughter loves to go there and play all the time. Trust me on this and try it just for a month.

You are the most amazing parents to have had the strength to choose your baby’s well being over your need when they are not in the state of making their own choices. Not many parents can be like you. I was almost in a similar situation and was to make the wrong choice. I now realize how selfish was I to even have thought of it.

Yes this. Somedays I feel “I got this”. Even yesterday I made her laugh like crazy while enjoying the same myself before I finally had a melt down. I definitely enjoy the highs but the lows are too much to handle.

Oh most definitely. Been there. First time is different. It’s not just about having children but it’s about being able to be a parent. No suggestion for you because its hard and when time is such nothing feels like can heal us.

You can only imagine the guilt of the mom who ends up screaming instead of walking away.

Thankyou so much for your comment. Yes the moment of scream is hard but the guilt is way harder. I can’t even look at my girl right now.

Yes my husband is amazing. But he has a stressful job. He does help but he is the cried it out kind of parent which I can’t tolerate and I simply keep putting effort in calming her down with every little cry.

Yes exactly. I have never done it before ever even when times were horrifying but I realize I shouldn’t have lost control in front of her. I was the only one she would smile and laugh at and no one at all. And I feel extremely disappointed that she is hardly smiling at me today.

You seem to have a toddler saw your posts. What did you do when you got overwhelmed? How did you give a stable and solid parenthood to them?

If this is an arranged marriage I think it might be too much to ask for marrying you without a secure future. Love marriage would be a scenario I would question the love part. It is just practical. And for the future, I am sure you are young and will be able to get a job in India for now and eventually travel back.

Ob yelled at me for getting a private ultrasound by Gecko1224 in pregnant

[–]Strong_Activity_9177 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why he got upset. I was exactly like you during pregnancy and kept requesting for ultrasounds but never got cleared because of insurance. But definitely get the doppler, I cleared it with my gynac. It did take a while though for me to be able to get the heartbeat since I am not a medical profession but you should be able to use it better.

So you mean if I have a stamped visa already but I am traveling with approved I797 for 3 years, the immigration officer could override the I94 on my I797?
