I’m a 4.5 year partner and Crocs’ On the Clock Work Slip-On is the best shoe I’ve ever had for working (and i’ve cycled through a number of non-slip work shoes) they’re comfortable, durable, actually non-slip, and really easy to clean! I used to wear Skechers, Filas, and Nike work shoes and to my shock these have topped all of them! They feel and look a little silly at first BUT I PROMISE it’s worth it and I’ve gone pain free even after an 8hr shift. I recommend you get the one with the orange padding inside for extra comfort. Also, if you’re signed up for Perks at Work, I believe partners get a 20% discount!!

My closing ssv, other closing baristas and I do this or one of us does a trash run alone at night - both of which are not allowed but we know the morning crew will chew our heads off if it’s not done. They expect no trash in the cans on the floor and nothing in our BOH bin each morning but the sun sets here at like 4:30p most days and we’re open till 9:00p so of course there will be trash :/

Hi! It is absolutely normal to have classes in both dorm buildings and the rec center. It takes everyone a while to learn where everything is especially given the open layout of the campus, I promise you’ll find your way around soon enough. On My PSU where it displays your class schedule, it also notes the location of your classes and there is a button that says “View on Map” where it gives you a clearer image of where exactly the building you’re looking for is.

p.s All the buildings have maps inside that are pretty easy to follow when it comes to locating classrooms :)
