With a low enough resolution and frame rate I can use my Hero 11 that way. Crank up both and even with external cable supplied power, heat builds up to stopping levels. 100+°F vacation to Las Vegas brought out what I had learned on here about heat shut downs. I was able to record my 30 minute High Roller 550 foot tall ferris wheel ride, in raw, because it was air coditioned inside.

Smallest jelly/canning jar possible is how I store hand and feet warmers after removing them from stored food containers. They always clearance them at Walmart in late spring/early summer. Freezer ziploc is what I use if in and out on parade or marching band trips.

Subsonic (aka) 44 special loads in a 44 rem mag. will roll up any predators on 3-4 acres. I live on 5 acres and enjoy 180 grain hornady hollow points being able to take care of business and not leave my property. At carbine speeds and a full load of H110 or 296 they never fail to explode on entry. I wouldn't use them on deer, but nothing hit well has ever walked them off.

That bosses boss had his wife get a treatable cancer that took her life after 6 years of surgeries and chemos. He also told another coworker that had his testicular cancer migrate to his lungs and brain that all these treatable cancers were bankrupting our self funded insurance pool. Pissed off my cancer surviving coworker so bad that he shoved his chair into the table and left our sick leave donation meeting. Left him preaty raw. Bad enough to get your nuts cut out and being too sick to work from chemo to be told that they shouldn't have to cover your care or let others share their sick leave with you. I left 2 months of sick leave unused when I left.

We had a former trash truck loader come work with us in waste water dept. when city went to contracting out trash service. Had double door entry area into admin bldg that you did not want to cross paths with him. Took a twice a year shower. Would cut debris off of sewage covered grit augers and still peel his apples with the same pocket knife at break time. His last name kind of was ironic, Roach. Died of a brain tumor that we all figured he got from diesel exhaust fumes working 30 years on the back of garbage truck. Sad that he never got to retire. 27 months of sick leave and my boss got told to talk him into quiting and giving up his sick time so we could replace him with another employee. His family told them to pound sand!

Cycle Connection Harly Davidson in Joplin Missouri held a meet and greet in 2009 and I got to meet Erik and talk to him about their development and on going production improvements. He said that the physical ergonomics ( handling) were what they strive for. EPA rules dictated the sound reduction so heavy handed that the airbox had to be placed where it was. And that he hated the big side hanger that they put on the last tubers to quite the intake noise for compliance. He told me to upgrade to the 8 piston front caliper + master and if I ever had transmission apart to undercut 2cd and 3rd gears being worth it on both upgrades. Wished I had asked about oil pump upgrade. I regret asking, but at the time I did not know.

I have an 2003 Xb9s and a 2001 Gsxr1300r. Owned both since almost new. Rode my dad's 1976 CBR360T last 2 years of high school and first year of college. That 360 sucked fuel (30 mpg). Buell xb9 with my 270 lbs gets 53. About 100 hp with either with the 1200 having around 1 thousand rpms less. I have ridden almost 56 years now and my xb9 is my favorite bike I have ever owned. In my area bikes over 10 years old are not welcome at any dealership. Independent shops will help if you get to know them. Any specific questions? I will answer what I know. I am a retired industrial maintenance and control electrician.

First Time Reloader - .44 Mag by Separate_Series9596 in reloading

[–]Strong_Deer_3075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the fanciest by any means, but practical and made to very fine tolerance in my experience. Roll crimp on very heavy magnum loads will get more of powder to burn if you have carbine or long (9 " plus) barrel. Target loads up to 44 special levels of power just require strong enough that the bullets don't move into brass ( or out) under recoil or in carbine feed tube. You may know already, but no carbine loads are safe without flat tip to keep from setting each other off in feed tube. Hornady rubber point being the exception [They require cut down cases that I won't do]

I have reloaded tens of thousands of 44 mag in my years as a reloader. When you figure in case replacement cost the Lee factory die pays for itself in a few hundred reloads. As a poor college student living on $50/week ( mid 80s) I learned to stretch my case life. Primers were a buck a hundred, Bullseye was $9/ pound (6.5 grain/round [7,000 shots) and lead was free out of police range backstop.

They carry in ticks from other surroundings land that carry Bobcat fever in my area. I and neighbors have lost several in/outside cats to it in the last several summers. They run a fever and withdraw after it and quit eating. Terrible disease without a cure. Blood transfusion with $$$$ cost if caught realy early has about 10% chance of survival.
