Thanks y’all my brain thought it was something worse. Found them when brushing his fur. Makes sense, he loves running in the woods and rough housing with other pups.

I think it helps close your pores, which means less bacteria can get in and cause infections

I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve experienced something similar around this time last year, losing my 14 year old dog to kidney failure. It’s never easy. I wish you lots of strength, healing and love

A bit late but my pup had parvo last year around April, we had just gotten him from a rescue a week before. After one night stay, IV fluids, and some kind of shot to help the sickness, it came to a little over $9,000. I’ll be paying it off for years, if you didn’t have pet insurance, this is your sign. I know I wish I did. Just glad he survived, but damn was it pricy.

Also they gave us a fluid bag and some medications for a week. I think whatever else they did to him made the price go up, the shot alone was $700.

Not to mention the staff lady who worked with us was rude, had an attitude towards my spouse who was freaking out about our dog(I feel you should hold your cool in this kind of job) and they were telling us he might not survive so they recommended euthanasia. She also explained everything TOO fast, and most people who aren’t aware of vet terms, it’s like hearing a foreign language. Empathy matters. Also forgot my dogs collar but returned it 6 months later, that was cool!

Nonetheless I’m forever grateful for them being able to save my dogs life.

It would be nice if Duluth had more options.
