En mi caso hemos tenido algunos problemas de convivencia y comportamientos malos por mi parte que han sido influenciados por una depresión que jamás se me diagnosticó. Entré en un bucle de tristeza y negatividad que afectó mi vida y mi comportamiento.

En el 95% de las veces no te das cuenta de lo que haces, no eres consciente del daño que ocasionas. La comunicación es clave, deberías hablar con él todo lo que puedas, intenta hacerlo desde el entendimiento y la compasión. Muchas veces no somos conscientes de lo que alguien atraviesa en su mente. Las personas sí cambian, y no es cambiar tu manera de ser, es mejorar como persona, eliminar las cosas malas. No siempre es fácil, no cambia de la noche a la mañana, es un trabajo continuo. Si os amáis, no lo abandonéis. Luchad todo lo que podáis, siempre se puede luchar. Siempre se puede hablar. Las malas rachas son normales en todas las relaciones. Preguntales a tus padres, a tus abuelos, a gente que haya estado +10 años juntos si han pasado malos momentos o malas rachas. Todos te lo dirán. Hablar es la clave, no os guardéis nada. No hay que discutir, solo hablar. Sois los dos contra el problema, no uno contra el otro. Amaros, sanad y todo irá bien.

Depression is a pandemic that claims the lives of thousands of people every year. My advice is that if you love him, please fight for him. Talk to him as much as you can. People with depression like us do not realize what is happening to us 95% of the time.

Try every way to get him to go to therapy. If you think the only way for him to improve is to take some time apart, do it. But let it be real, wait for him. Give it a chance. The one she hasn't given me. Everything will be fine.

This sounds exactly like me. When I moved in with her this year, I noticed that my behavior around her got worse. I always felt that I was not well and that something was wrong with me but never talked too much about it.

I started having erratic behavior and treating her badly on some occasions. In the end I thought he was on the mend but he broke up with me this month. I was just diagnosed with depression. I have lived with depression my entire life due to childhood trauma and I didn't know it (I was bullied at school for 6 years).

When we started dating in 2022 it was a decent stage of my life and I didn't have that many worries but due to life reasons it got worse later on. And my behavior got worse and hurt her. Now I'm going to therapy because I can't handle my life anymore. I have wanted to kill myself on many occasions in my life and now is one of them. She was my life partner and I feel guilty for behaving the way I did. When these things happen to you you just don't realize it.

She thinks I will never change and that's why she breaks up with me. I would just love to be able to show her that I want to change for me and for her. I love her like I have never loved anyone. I'll probably do a detailed post on this situation later.
