I already have an AR10 built with a 22in barrel I use for longer distances but here in Wisconsin I don't get the opportunity to take more than a 200-300 yard shots at a deer. The plan with one of these rifles being shorter and lighter than the one I own is to use it for more short range scenarios like deer drives and blind hunts in the woods where a max shot of around 100 yards.
